On Saturday before Easter, my mom took us to the Amtrak train depot in Marshall. Paul, Paul David and I rode the train from Marshall to Longview (45 minutes), and my mom picked us up.

We moved the Sightseeing Car and Paul David was able to see the other track and the front of the train:
Paul David keeps calling this the Bullet Train...when you go from Marshall to Longview in 45 minutes, that's not exactly Bullet Train Speed, but whatever, Dude!
We had a great time, and I would definitely ride the train again...maybe even to Dallas. It was very spacious and comfortable. It was even pretty reasonably priced...$15 for the 3 of us to ride from Marshall to Longview...hey, we paid $35 a piece for the same time on the Polar Express:)
If you have train lovers and live close, it's definitely a good "field trip!"

He asked me today to go to the zoo. Then he started talking about the green train. Later he told me he wanted to see the animals. Probably still trying to get to the train. Loves his trains! MiMi
