Max
The last couple of days, Paul David has been calling himself Max. I'm not sure where it's coming from...he may have seen it somewhere or he may have just made it up! Not sure!
Anyway, sometimes if I say something to him and call him Paul David, he'll say, "I Max, Mommy!"
Later, he may say, "Where's Max Mommy?" and I'll say, "I Don't know where is Max?" He'll point at himself and say, "Right here!"
Last night, he asked me "What does Max say Mommy?" and I said, "I don't know. What does Max say?" He said LOUDLY, "Ta-Da!"
Then this morning, we were putting on his shoes and he told me that Max flies and wears a helmet.
Is Max a super hero?
Of course, I'm playing along...I love it! I really didn't think he was going to be a creative, imaginative type, but I'm seeing little glimpses that I may have a little actor on my hands. He already thinks he's so funny!

Haircut and Sock-shoes
I finally got un-lazy and took Paul David to get a haircut. Ms. Kari chopped off a lot, but it looks so much better. Of course, most/all of the curl is gone, but I know it will more than likely return. His hair had gotten way out of hand. Even when you combed it, it didn't look combed. This haircut wasn't his best performance, but it didn't help that Judson was crying at first, then asleep in my arms. I wasn't much help, but I DID IT...another success under my belt as a Mommy of Two...haircut, check!
This morning while Paul David had MDO, Judson, Mimi and I wnet to my dentist appointment. I put Judson in this cute baseball outfit, and remembered his Trumpette Johnny's socks:
Remember the little girly Mary Jane socks that I was in love with. Well, my friend Theresa told me that they had these precious boy ones, so as soon as I got home from the hospital, I had myself on Amazon ordering these cute little socks. Paul David calls them "Sock-Shoes," so that's probably what we'll be calling them, too!

Smiles
Oh, my stars...he's growing up way too fast! I mean he's already 7 1/2 weeks old...slow down my baby!
So what's brought on these precious smiles. I've hated to say anything in case I jinx it, but Judson's days have been so much better the last couple of days. I don't know if I mentioned it on here, but he was a Fusspot any waking moment that he wasn't eating. I had been keeping close tabs on his weight to make sure he was eating enough, and he's been on the high end of the weight gain that whole time, so that wasn't it. The doctor said the dreaded Colic. My mom said he was fighting his sleep like crazy!
Early last week, I noticed some green poops. So on Tuesday, I called the Lactation consultant about it, and she said to eliminate dairy. So that's what I've been doing. I really think I can see an improvement. Knock on Wood! I do know that some of has to do with maturity, too! He's also been sleeping more this week, which always improves MY disposition! Little by little, we're making progress around here:)

A Post that's NOT a Video
Have you been enjoying the videos??? Yesterday was the last of them until I download some more!
So last Monday, the Piks came out for a visit! I don't know how I missed blogging about that!

Paul David had been talking about the Pink Baby for awhile, and I finally figured out that he was talking about Miss Allie! He got to hold his Pink Baby:

And here's what the living looked like when they left and both my boys were down for a nap. I would say that a good time was had by all:

Oh, no the Ghost Train!
On Geo Trax, there's a story about a train that has a white sheet over him and he's a Ghost Train. I'm loving to watch Paul David's imagination:

Friday night we were watching Unwrapped on the Food Network, and they featured the Dairy Queen Blizzard. I couldn't get it out of my head. So Saturday night, me, Paul, Paul David and my mom headed across the bridge to the closest DQ for a Butterfinger Blizzard and Paul David got this Blue Raspberry Slushie:

This Monday, we hosted a playdate at our house. William's mommy's birthday was Sunday, so I got some cupcakes for us. Paul David is LOVING birthdays right now:

Natalie (Joanna's baby sister) and Judson were there too, but they didn't participate in the cupcake eating:)
Yesterday, Judson got a package...his very own Monkey Lovey from my good friend Krystal and her family:

Thank you Miss Krystal---love Judson!
And finally, a confession. With all the night feedings and day feedings, I watch quite a bit of TV. Since it's in Rerun season, and I've seen just about every House Hunters, Jon and Kate Plus 8, Little Couple, and The Duggers episodes, I've broadened my horizons these last couple of days. I have a new favorite show (I'd watched it before with April, but forgotten about it)...it's Tori and Dean...with Tori Spelling. Oh, my goodness they are the cutest (almost as cute as Jen and Bill from the Little Couple---I would so kidnap Jen if I ever saw her at Texas Children's and bring her home with me she's so cute...of course I'm just kidding...she's a grown woman and all!) Anyway, I think I could so be Tori's friend. I love that they call Liam Monkey, and I think Dean is an adorable Daddy! And so goes my love of Reality TV families!

Touchdown!
One Year Old Paul David was into football then, too! Here he's giving the touchdown sign!
My favorite part is at the end when he gives his victory dance, then gets his Elmo phone to call his peeps!

Diaper Boy with Hats
One Year Old Paul David in just his diaper and a hat!
I loved seeing his little naked body and seeing the way he walked around. So cute when they're first walking!

Sorting Shapes...
Paul David style!
This is another hilarious One Year Old Paul David Moment!
He teaches me there's always two ways to skin a cat...and his is obviously the better way!
He really has always done things his own way!

Monkey Crawl
Before Judson, I had downloaded some video on my computer from November/December 2007. Of course, I've had NO time to do anything with them. Since I've started carrying little man around in the Moby Wrap, I have a lot of time to spend standing in the kitchen next to the sound machine (he likes the running stream setting). I finished his birth announcements (just waiting on stamps), so now I've moved on to the videos.
Some of the ones I have on here are worth sharing, even though they're over a year and half old. I have a couple of more I'm going to download later, too. Paul David had been walking about a month here, but he still loved to crawl like a monkey. It was hilarious and so glad we have it on tape!

6 Weeks Old
And of course, for comparison (because we all know I love to do that with pictures), here's Paul David at 6 weeks, too. It's the same sleeper, same back quilt, same bed, same room, same age...different baby in so many ways!
After the photo session, we had some brotherly love go one for about a minute.
I'm patting myself on the back right now. I've been able to keep up with most of the pictures that I did with Paul David and do them with Judson, too. Actually, I think I may have MORE of Judson right now than I do of Paul David at this age...shocking I know! I even took Judson to Mud Pie and got his feet painted for his 6 week Tile today. Those poor people that were in there for a leisurely quiet time painting...Judson sounded like I was pouring salt into an open wound the whole time we were there! I just painted his feet, paid and left. I'll go back another time and finish it...hopefully before his 6 month Tile is due!

All About the J Man
Today's post is all about Baby Judson!

The last time (2 weeks ago) I weighed him, he was 10 lbs. 15 oz with a dirty diaper on...so probably 10 lbs. 12 oz...it was a big dirty diaper. I'm guessing now, he probably weighs about 11 1/2 pounds...whoa, I know!
Judson is so much more alert now without fussing...but he does have his fussy moments...often. Seems to be a lot fussier when Daddy comes home, which is his way of already following in his brother's footsteps! Poor Daddy is all I can say!
Judson loves to eat and loves to be close to Mommy.

His nights are very unpredictable. Sometimes he'll sleep from 10-1 or 2 then get up again around 4 or 5. Other times, I put him down at 10, and he's already back up at 11, then 1, then 3, etc. You just never know what you'll get!

Going Ons!
Here are some highlights of the week:
Thursday night Paul David went to his 6th Astros' game of the Season with Daddy and Paw Paw!
He wants Judson to go so bad, but I don't think we're quite ready for that!

Here are Judson and me in our new found Life Saver...the Moby Wrap! I can be hands free with him in this, and he LOVES it! He falls asleep in it, and I can stand at the bar and do stuff...like this and play with Paul David. It's great!
Wednesday, Paul David, Mimi and Justin went to the zoo...it was HOT...I don't know what they were thinking! After Paul David's nap, he wanted to take a bath with his swim shirt and swimsuit. Since he needed a bath from the zoo anyway, I suited him up and put him in. He played in there for over an hour!
Here's Mr. Judson on Friday. I bought this onesie and shorts before he was born because I thought it was hilarious. Born in 09, but it looks so 70's! The shorts are HUGE and they're 0-3 months. He'll probably still be wearing them when he's 1 if he's anything like his brother!

Pudge is the catcher for the Astros.
Paul David has been wearing his football helmet around pretending to be a catcher for awhile now because it has a cage on the front like a catcher's mask.
Well, yesterday, Daddy went out to the garage and found HIS old catcher's mask from High School. Paul David has been in hog heaven!

Our Anniversary
Yesterday, Paul and I celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary!
I would get all mushy here and go on and on about how wonderful these last five years have been (and they have), but Paul gets embarrassed when I go on and on about how wonderful he is...so I'll refrain!

I will say that the last five years have flown by for sure!
And finally, we have a picture of our family that is worth getting prints of (I really haven't been fixing myself up lately, so they all look so bad).

We really have accomplished a lot in these last 5 years...two sons to be exact...unbelievable.
Oh, and we're so dressed up because we went out to eat at this Fancy Smancy Restaurant downtown that we had been to with Paul's company once before and ever since I've been dreaming of their creamed spinach! This time the Filet trumped the spinach...or maybe it was the caramel ice cream ball covered in pecans that won or the sweet and sour calamari that started off our meal. The point being, we ate a ton of AMAZING food...so much food that was indeed embarressing!
