Oh, No Mommy...
is what I hear coming from Paul David's room a minute ago. I go in and there's water dripping from his bed. He says, "Oh, no Mommy. Wash Night, Night!" Meaning, "Oh, No Mommy, I spilled water on my bed!" He had smuggled my water glass with the lid and straw into his room, then let it fall over on his bed! "Wash Night, Night!" cracked me up!

Evidence
I was reading a Project 365 Blog the other day that was giving ideas for pictures. One of ideas was to take pictures of all the "evidence of little ones" you find around your house! I was like HA, I've been doing that but never really thought to call it "evidence!" I was just thinking those pictures would be seen in the future and my kids would think that Mama was nuts taking random pictures of our toys! I think it's a great name and idea though!
Here's a few pieces of "evidence of little ones" that we've found after Paul David's gone down for a nap or gone to bed at night:

I have to tell you about this little orange train--last year on Paul's birthday (Dec 28th), we were headed to his brother's to watch fireworks. We stopped at Whataburger to pick up dinner and got Paul David a kid's meal (his first ever kid's meal that we'd ever bought). He got this orange train in it. At the time, he paid NO attention to it. I think, I'm not 100%, but I think it's a Polar Express train, and somehow, I think Paul David knows that too. Now, it's one of his favorite toys. We've lost and recovered it about 10 times in the last couple of months! He calls it the "orange engine!" Hundreds of dollars invested in Thomas, and he's going to LOVE a train from a $4.00 Kid's Meal...go figure!Anyway, on with the evidence:

Paul spotted the helmets the other night. The Cats Vs The Longhorns on College Gameday!Ok, so I know I just posted a Belly Picture on my 365 blog, but I had Paul take another yesterday because I loved this sweater on me (Thanks, April) and since it's actually Maternity, it made me "look" pregnant!
More Evidence of another "little one" on the way:

For all My Family and Friends...
North of us...it's 76 degrees here and BEAUTIFUL outside!
Bundle up and keep warm up there!
I hear it's headed our way tomorrow!

ARGH!
My friend, Krystal and I were talking the other day about how we hoped that our blogs showed our real life, and not just all the good, fun stuff. I really think mine is guilty of just showing the good because sometimes, you just don't want to share the really awful stuff that happens behind closed doors! Really though, we have very few bad days around here, but they're usually not just one incidence...it's usually a build up of a bunch of things, but by the time he goes to bed, I can't remember why it was so bad!
Well, yesterday it was bad...in one instant, I turned into Paul David's worst nightmare...or I hope that's what he got out of it:)
It was about 7:00...Paul was running late, and I decided to just go ahead and feed Paul David. He asked for popcorn (you know those Christmas tubs with cheese, butter and caramel popcorn in them), so I just opened the tin for him to graze while I fixed his dinner. The next thing I know, the tub is being turned UPSIDE DOWN on the carpet. We were at the bottom of the tub with only caramel left (which leads me to believe that he was dumping it to find the cheese...his favorite) and about a MILLION crumbs (side note: I had just vacuumed yesterday morning!)
So, I let out a "NOOOOOOO" that was more like a low growl that sounded a lot like Satan! I ran over and gave him a swat, then started in with the fussing. I won't go into the whole conversation, but it included words like I trusted you, Mommy's sad, Mommy's disappointed...you know all the words a 2 year old had NO idea about, but made me feel better...I was that hot! So I try to get him to help me pick it up..."NO" he tells me through his sobs. I start using my hand with his hand to pick it all up...his hand touched every piece that got picked up. He didn't like the caramel sticky on his hand at all, so there was lots of crying through this.
In the middle of all this, I thought about my sweet friend, Amanda, who'd had a similar happening a couple of weeks ago with a 2 year old, a bag of powdered sugar and some grout, and she kept her cool and didn't get upset. Well, that wasn't me last night, even though I wished it had been. I'm going to have to work on my initial reaction to things!
The rest of the evening consisted of: a bath with no bath toys, no more Mickey on TV (I got to watch the Bachelor while he played), and eating dinner while watching me vacuum. I sure hope he got the point. Daddy made him apologize to me when he got home.
Let's get back to cuteness today, shall we???
Mama said there'd be days like this...

UPDATE: I finished this post, went and got him out of bed, gave him his milk and some Cheerios, went to the bathroom, and came back to find this:

Visit at my Parents
There are 3 other posts below with lots of pictures. We had a fun week...can you tell?
Paul had to go out of town last week, so Paul David and I headed up to my parent's for the week.
When we got there Monday night, my mom had fixed dinner and gotten the kids a pizza. We guess Kendall was hungry because she got the box down and put it on the kid table:

Kendall was jumping/dancing on the bed:

That evening, it was super cold and windy, but the kids were able to help Papa feed the horses. They all had a bucket of feed...

Kendall singing to Nana (I can't seem to remember what she was singing...probably "I love you, you love me" or "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.")
Chuck E Cheese
Nana wanted to take the kids to Chuck E Cheese on Wednesday. Of course, they heard about it on Tuesday, so they were ALL talking about it for about 24 hours! April met us there during her lunch break, and we lucked out because for the first 20 minutes or so, we were the only ones there. There were maybe 10 kids there at one time the whole time we were there, plus there Chuck E Cheese is small! It was great. We kind of just let the kids run around and just keep an eye on them:)
Kendall won the mother load on the Sponge Bob Game:

I had made mine and Paul David's drinks and put them on the table. I hadn't told him about it, but at some point, he found the table and his drink all on his own. So glad we were the only ones there!

Attempting a picture of all three of them. You can kind of see me behind them...I was holding on to Paul David's shirt trying to keep him from running:

We were there about 2 and a half hours and had the best time. The kids were so good...we will definately do that again!
Playing Outside
Clearing the Land
Last week, the loggers started clearing my parent's land of all the pretty trees. On Wednesday evening, after the loggers had left, we loaded the kids up and went up there to see their "staging area." They had a bunch of their machinery sitting up there along with the logs they had cut. Of course, Paul David's favorite thing was the DIRT!
Preston climbed on these logs and said, "Take my picture, Aunt Dice!" Oh, I've trained him well!

The sun started setting, so I tried to get all artsy with the pictures...not sure if I can pull it off though:

This is my favorite one of all of them, but of course it was too dark. I played with the shadows, and got it looking decent I think:

Still Here...
I was doing so well blogging the last week, then I went to my parent's house...whew, we were busy! I have a TON of pictures to go through, but for some reason my silly card reader is not reading my card. It has one major job, and it can't even do that! Soon enough, I'll have it working and pictures of the week up on here...or after I go to Best Buy and get a new card reader...whichever comes first!
In other news, I had my 20 week, 2 day Dr. appointment this morning (Can you believe I'm HALF WAY there?). She said that the ultrasound looked good, and we'll have another in 6 weeks thanks to my lovely fibroids! I had gained weight, and I was measuring ahead, but we all remember that it's the fibroids, right???? No, it wasn't the Pizza King, cookies, Pop Tarts, etc. I always measured ahead with Paul David, too. I've cleaned out my closet today in anticipation of getting out all of my maternity clothes...the belly pop out is coming...SOON! I wore a pair of my sister's maternity jeans today and OH, they felt so good that I don't think I can go back to waistbands! The baby's heartrate was 140, although she kept finding mine instead! All looks good, so we're happy!
I plan to get a baby predictor thingy going when I start showing more. We did that with Paul David, and it was fun to see what everyone guessed! I know a lot of people like to predict that by the belly, so I'll wait awhile to get it going.
As for Paul and I, we're so completely cool with whatever we have. Wouldn't a girl be so much fun??? Wouldn't I be BROKE, though??? Oh, another boy would be an absolute HOOT! I love, love, love my little boy to death, so another one would just be delightful! Think of all the baseball, football, basketball I would have to watch...YAY! We've decided this though, all we want though is a healthy baby...that's all!
Pictures soon, I promise!

Zoo Pictures
We (Paul David, Sarah and I) met Amanda, Coleman, and Spence at the zoo Friday. It was a little warmer than the last time we went in December, but it was still pretty cold. The boys just like to RUN, so they could care less!
A lot of the animals were still inside, but we did get to see some. I mostly got pictures of the boys. For some reason, I didn't get a good one of Coleman by himself, but there's on of the three of them on the Project 365 blog.

Paul David was riding on Amanda's double stroller (above) and tried to get off while it was still moving so that he could go look at the "longhorns!" He had spotted them and was saying, "EEBO," which is BEVO! He was saying, "Hookem' Horns" while he was standing there. They're not really Texas Longhorns, but they are cows with really long horns, so we're going with that!
