We're still kicking here, but we're plagued with ear infections. One week, it's Judson, the next Paul David, and at the moment, we're back to Judson! Poor baby feels so bad, but he's getting an antibiotic injection everyday for 3 days. We're hoping this provides some relief! Needless to say, I've becoming quite aquainted with our Dr. Hassel (that Paul David calls "Dr. Castle!")
Paul David's even been pretending to be Dr. Castle. He got a doctor's kit for Christmas, and he got it out this weekend. He goes in the hall, shuts the door, then knocks like the Dr. Hassel does in real life! He has the stethescope draped around his neck like her...he listens to your heart, then goes and get the medicine dropper. He tells you to "open your mouth," then squirts the medicine in. Sometimes, he takes your blood pressure, too! It's really adorable and shows that we've been to the doctor way too much in the last month!
So, I've been clocking many hours of rocking and cuddle time with my babies. It's so sweet to just sit with them...especially when they fall asleep on you.
Judson's been keeping me on my toes, too! He started crawling, then pulling up on the tables and couch, then slowly cruising along...all within a WEEKS TIME! Crazy! Anyway, we're in that phase where you if it gets quiet, you must go investigate and the tables must be child-proofed! I just can't believe he's doing all this, but I think it's about the same time as Paul David!
We've been working on "How Big Is Judson?" "SOOOO BIG!" He's raised his hands in the air a couple of times for us, but the cutest thing is that if he's in my lap, he'll grab my hands, then pull them up. That's how I started doing it when we were trying to teach him. It's so cute!
Paul David is still being Paul David. He is completely POTTY TRAINED! It's awesome. He started going to the potty all by himself to go #1 a couple of weeks ago, but this last week, he's even started going by himself to go #2! It's the BEST! He did have one accident at Mimi's the other day, but we're not sure what was going on with that! He still wears a pull-up at night, but it's usually dry in the morning. We've been doing without the Pull-Up during his occasional naps, and yesterday, he came out after about an hour to go potty, but looked like he'd been sleeping! I guess it woke him up...YAY or not I guess depending on if he needed more sleep! He only takes a nap every few days or so! He does pretty well without it, and I've found that an earlier bed time is sometimes better anyway:) On the days he does take a nap, it's usually a pain to get him to go to bed, and he's still awake at 10:30...luckily, he's just laying in there and not disturbing anything, but still!
So, I've rambled enough...this is mostly just to document all this stuff. Hopefully, I'll have some new pictures up soon!
