Lots of Pictures...Beware!

Can you believe that Judson's 4 weeks old tomorrow? Unbelievable!

We've had Nana staying with us this past week...what will we do when she's gone??? Not to worry, Mimi's on the job:)

Here are just some random shots from the week...

Paul David running the "bases"...aka the scale!

Paul David and I were having some fun trying to get a picture of the two of us:

Nana and Judson have been doing a LOT of this:

Tuesday, we ventured out and went down and saw my friend Amanda and her sweet kids. She just had Miss Allie on June 17th.
Can you believe that her second baby boy, Spence, and Paul David are only a month apart in age, and now Judson and Allie are less than 2 weeks apart in age??? Crazy, but we're going to have so much fun with all these guys!!! Four boys and a girl...all under the age of 4 1/2!

Judson getting to know Amanda:

Me getting to know Allie...she was so sweet...she cried like one time the whole time we were there!

Judson and Allie's first meeting. They were only 2 oz apart in weight, too! Well, now there's probably a difference since Judson's eating like a maniac and weighs 10lbs. 5 oz.

All the big brothers loving on the babies. They were all kissing all over both babies. It was ADORABLE!

"How You Doin'???"

Their little feet...just in case we need some wedding slideshow pictures one day:
Thank you Coleman, Spence, Allie and Amanda for having us yesterday. We had the best time and can't wait for our next, longer visit!

Once we got home, Judson took a little snooze on the boppy...I loved his little hands:

Judson's first tummy time experience...NOT loving it!

Look who's umbilical cord FINALLY fell off...it only took a whole box of alcohol preps, some stinky odor this past weekend, and two trips to the doctor to get that stinking thing off...now maybe he can get a proper bath...well, if his mama wasn't so lazy/tired right now!

As you can see, things are getting better. I've decided that if I go at least somewhere in the mornings, it makes the day go by a little faster. I've at least decided that when it's just the three of us, I may have to load the boys up and drive through somewhere so that I can eat lunch:) Knock on wood, Judson's pretty good in the car...well, he at least sleeps!

UT Pictures

With UT in the College World Series, we tried to dress in Orange around here. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for the Longhorns!

Daddy and his newest Little Longhorn:

The three boys watching the game:

Judson went to sleep after he ate, so I put him on the boppy. He slept like this for about an hour:

Raise your hands if you're sure...that this is the cutest little guy around:

Enough with the flashes Mommy:

Hmmm...

Last night, Judson would fall asleep at each feeding and didn't seem to eat much. When he woke up again at 4:45, I was giving him a little lecture about if he would eat instead of sleeping while we were up, we wouldn't have to keep doing this every 2 hours. I SWEAR to you, he looked at me and SMILED like, "why in the world would I want to do that???" Little Turkey!

My mom came to stay with us this week. Paul David's got her wrapped around his little finger...so does Judson!

We took the boys to get their pictures made at Portrait Innovations on Thursday. I had taken Paul David at 3 weeks, so we're trying to do the same with Judson. Of course, the pictures turned out totally different, but oh, so cute. I've been reluctant to post them because I'm going to send some in Judson's birth announcement, but there's one I've saved and will send in it for sure. You'll probably be getting some of these added in the announcement, too.

Judson in his coming home outfit...that is WAY too short on him now. He's really grown in these last 3 weeks:

HOW adorable is this one...look at Judson holding Paul David's hand:

This one was for Daddy:

Hope you're having a great weekend...we're having a low key one. Just sitting around feeding everyone! Until later...

The Days are Still Blurring...

I still can't tell you what day it is, but the days are getting better! I've actually put on make up and washed and dried my hair a few times this week! That's major! While I was kind of dressed up, we took advantage and got a picture with me and Judson. We REALLY need to do this more:

Jessica asked if Judson was growing faster than Paul David did. Well, I can say YES he is. At Paul David's 2 week appointment, he was only back at his birth weight...Judson was almost a pound over. Now, Judson has also been getting formula, and I think that has some to do with it.

Here are Judson and Paul David in the same outfit at about the same age:

It fits Judson way better!

And just because I can't keep all these baby clothes, I've decided to try to get pictures of Judson in most/all of them.

Baseball is our life right now. Anytime we sit down, Paul David grabs the glove and ball and gives it to one of us, then grabs his bat. He's getting really good at hitting the ball, too!

Sliding after his hit!

Yes, dear boy, YOU HAVE ARRIVED! Judson is beginning to be awake a lot more which is leading to much better feedings, but less sleeping at night for me! Oh, well, it only lasts a little while is what I keep telling myself! We must be doing something right because today he weighed 9lbs. 14 oz!

Our sweet friends Mia and William gave Judson that cute onesie!

Daddy and his sons...I just love to think about all the fun these three are going to be having soon!

I'm sorry that I'm not posting as much...I really mean to, but things keep coming up! Paul's going back to work on Thursday, and my mom's coming tomorrow night and staying a week! I have at least one more week to get my act together!

Looking Alike...or Not!

Well, I got some pretty funny comments on the last post about me saying that I thought Judson looked like Paul David. I have to admit that for the most part, they don't. There are times however when I think, OH MY STARS, that was so your brother's look.

They're times like this:

When Judson cries, he looks just like Paul David except with hair!
Judson-top
Paul David-bottom

And when Judson does this smiley bit after he's nursed:

It takes me back to this day when Paul David was doing the exact same thing:

Yep, it's those times when I see my firstborn in my secondborn.

But, yes, for the most part, they are completely different. They have different eating styles, sleeping patterns, love of the bouncy seat, blood types and on and on.

On the other hand, they have a lot in common...they're both LOVED so much they should be hardly standing it!

So, who DOES Judson look like:

Well, this is me at 5 weeks:
Yep, mystery solved!
Except the whole complexion thing. I still am wondering if he'll get fairer the more the jaundice gets out of him or not. Paul and I are both so fair, so it will be interesting to see...stranger things have happened.

Judson also went for his 2 week check up today.
Here are his stats:
9 lbs. 9.5 oz---75th percentile
22 3/4 inches long---95 percentile
She said that his color looked good and that he was perfect...but we already knew that!

2 Weeks Old!

Judson is officially two weeks old today!
Happy 2 weeks, Little Buddy!

Wow...in some ways it's hard to believe that it's already been two weeks, but in other ways, it's ONLY been two weeks:) It really does feel like he's been with us forever!

With Paul David, I took pictures of him each month with my old class bear Hampton. I started it at 2 weeks though, so today, I decided to get Judson's Hampton picture taken. I had this great plan to set up my black material outside and get the pictures out there. I did get it set up and took some, but they were awful because by the time we got out there, we were all in bad moods and it is HOT outside right now. So, after a feeding this afternoon, I got some decent ones in the bedroom...with the flash...boo, I know!

Just for kicks, here's Paul David's 2 week old Hampton picture:HOLY COW...these two look nothing alike! I've been saying that I thought they did, but I think I'm going to have to stop saying that!

Sweet Brother moment:

Judson's decided to start doing more of this these days:

OH JOY!

And Big Brother has decided to want to wear baby's clothes:

OH JOY!
Get this...that onesie is a 6-12 month size, and with the exception of the length, I do believe he could wear it. This child eats like a horse, yet is so skinny! He's still wearing 18 month shorts and only weighs 30 pounds.

He's such a hoot!
