Christmas with The Legoudes'

Christmas Night, Paul's family came over for dinner and gifts.
The boys each got a new flashlight...which they love. Flashlights are always a great gift, even with the young!

Paul David got a DSi...he's learning to play it, and he really thinks he's cool now that he can take it over and play it with Justin!

Judson got the cutest Christmas Geo-Trax Train. I hope we can put it under the tree next year!

Guess who else thought it was cool:

I wish I'd gotten a picture of it all set up. It's so neat. When it passes over certain parts, it lights up and sings. Very, very cool!

Justin opening gifts:

This might be the best picture yet...

I was pretty excited about my new iPod!!!!

Paul got an awesome jersey for Spring Training. Can you tell that we're ready to head to Florida in March????

Lily and Foster joined the chaos later, and opened gifts.

We got them mini bats with their birth statistics on them.

Judson got the cutest book, Pajama Time from Lily and Foster!

Foster opening his bat:

Paul David got some neat Dinosaur Train games! Fun, fun!

It was an exciting, fun day for everyone!
Merry Christmas!!!

First Bike Ride

Santa didn't realize that the 4 wheeler battery took 18 hours to charge, so Judson got to walk around a bit while Paul David went on his first bike ride around the cul-de-sac!

He had a little trouble at first, but soon he got the hang of it. We had to give him a little "push" every once in a while...apparently there's a little bit of a slope in the road in spots!

Finally, a smile! Poor baby...he was pretty tired out after about 15 minutes...plus it was FRIGID cold outside on Christmas Day!

Little Man waving to brother riding by:

He had snot running out of both sides of his nose!

The tongue of concentration:

He loves it...but we knew he would! He's getting better every day...can't wait until he can ride it to the park. He'll feel like a big boy then, I know!

Christmas Morning!!!!!!!!!

So, of course, I woke up at about 5 and could NOT go back to sleep...UGH! Finally, at about 7, we thought we heard "something" upstairs, so we hightailed it into Paul David's room. He was burning up, so I gave him some medicine (he'd been sick the whole week) and asked him if he wanted to go see what Santa had brought or go back to sleep. He said,
"go back to sleep."
and commenced to sleep until 9:00 a.m. and so did his little brother!!!
Paul and I enjoyed a quiet two hours of sitting around looking at what all Santa had brought and eating some yummy breakfast casserole! It was nice, but we were anxious for the boys to see what Santa had brought!!!!

FINALLY, at 9, we hear Judson crying. I went into Paul David's room first to get him. He was ready to go down and see what Santa had brought...YAY for Advil kicking in!!

Judson went straight to his 4 wheeler and put on his helmet...so adorable:

Paul David went right to his bike and proclaimed:
"It has the pedals in the middle! I wanted a bike with the pedals in the middle!!!"
You know because the tricycle has the pedals on the front wheel:)
Anyway, this picture is blurry, but it pretty much sums up his feelings on the bike:
There were pillow pets, too...they are SO SOFT!!!

Judson found the Nerds Rope and his new heaven!
He ate the whole thing...breakfast of Champions!

Luckily Santa thought to bring them their other favorite thing...toothbrushes!

Santa put some Peanut M&M's in my stocking...yes, I had them for dinner one night!

Paul got the Hallmark Christmas Vacation House Ornament. It's awesome!

Then, we went out to the garage to see what Santa had brought me...a new bench for the front yard! I'd mentioned that I wanted one to sit out there and watch the kids play! I'm so excited!

Paul opened his gift...a new telephoto lens for the camera. I wanted to get it for when we go to Spring Training this March! He loved it!

Paul kept asking if we'd unwrapped all the gifts from Santa, and I kept telling him YES! Finally, I LOOKED really hard behind the tree and found another one! It was for the Legoudes Family, but I opened it! It was a new camera!!!!! I was so excited, and there were some pictures of me that show that excitement, but they were a little scary!!!!

We'd talked about getting a new camera at some point, and I guess Santa thought now was as good a time as ever!!!

Here are some of the first pictures taken on it...

Judson after he ate his other breakfast of champions...powdered donuts:

Sweet Paul David finally feeling a little better:

We really love the new camera...Santa was so good to us all!

Christmas Eve Night

We've traditionally taken our picture in front of the tree every Christmas Eve since Paul David was a 2 month old baby! It's really for my Christmas Journal, but I love having the picture, too!

Paul David was helping Daddy set up the tripod by posing in front of the tree!

Our Family Christmas Eve 2010

Aren't those reindeer sweaters the cutest?? A Bible Study friend handed those down to us...so cute!

Before we got ready for bed, we fed the reindeer the food Paul David made at school:

We listened to the bear read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas:

We set out milk and cookies for Santa:

We wrote a note to Santa:

Then, we tucked them in soundly!!!!

Christmas Eve has always been such a fun night for me! April and I always stayed up late on Christmas Eve Eve, so that we might sleep some on Christmas Eve. It never worked. I always had trouble sleeping! Now, I didn't have trouble falling asleep, but I woke up super early anticipating the boys waking up! Love, Love, Love Christmas Eve and the anticipation!

Christmas Eve Morning

On Christmas Eve morning, we woke to a living room full of gifts for us! Judson ran over to play with all of Paul David's gifts, and Paul David ran over to play with Judson's...HA!

When we finally switched them, Paul David started asking, "Is this mine?" about everything!
Then, he saw the bowling set...WHOA!

and the Texas Calendar!

They got a bunch of bath toys (YAY) and fun toys!

We got Nana and Papa tickets to see Larry the Cable Guy in April. I think they were excited!

Judson with the first train that's actually for HIM!

Paul got an awesome patio heater:

and sunflower seeds...he loves these things!

I got the Mickey Mouse cartridge for my Cricut:)

and a clock for the living room:

This was one of his flashlights, but I love his face here:

YAY for scrapbooking paper!!!!!

We ended our time with my family at The Butcher Shop...YUM!
Then, we headed home to get ready for SANTA!!!!
