Magic Kingdom

On Friday, March 8th, we loaded up the vans and headed east to Florida!  We stopped the first night in Mobile to spend the night, then headed out early the next morning!  We got to the house we rented about 4 that afternoon and unpacked while the guys ran to stock up on supplies at Wal-Mart!

We started our week off on Sunday at Magic Kingdom.  I wasn't sure how much Paul David would remember, but the one thing he of course remembered was the Monorail...

Even though it was super early (about 7:15) when we were on the Monorail, they boys were both REALLY excited!!!

The park opened at 8 a.m. and we were there when it opened!
We even had time to snap this picture to begin our day:
Our first stop was right inside the park to see Mickey!

Then, we hit the ground running!  By 10:30, we had ridden everything (except Winnie the Pooh...it kept breaking down on us) in Fantasyland!  CRAZY!

We even got to ride Dumbo THREE times in a row without any wait!!
If you've ever been to WDW, you know that's amazing!

We also walked right up and saw Goofy:
 Daisy:
and Minnie...Daisy and Minnie both gave the boys huge kisses...so cute!
You can see the Motor Speedway from FantasyLand, so we of course, had to go ride those next!

We ended up switching partners and going twice:)

Then, we caught up with the rest of the group and rode Buzz Lightyear!

 And the People Mover...so relaxing:

We also went to Stitch's Great Escape (not a fan of that ride/show/what was that?),
but Judson and Justin enjoyed seeing Stitch:
And FINALLY, we went to the Hall of Presidents...Judson found "Georgia" Washington first thing!
The boys are SO INTO the Presidents right now (mostly because they're on all the money, and they're really interested in money right now too), so they were really excited to see this...weird kids, I know:

After the Hall of Presidents, our little family headed back to the house for a snooze!
I guess I need to add here that Paul and I both woke up with some tummy troubles this day.  Mine pretty much lasted until about lunch time, but Paul's were pretty yucky all day.
During our naptime, Judson was the only one who slept while Paul David just rolled around in the bed moaning and groaning because his tummy was cramping, and he spent a lot of time on the potty.  When Judson woke up, he spent some time on the Potty, too!  It was the start of a really bad stomach bug that fortunately had no vomit with it!

When we returned to Magic Kingdom, we posed with the castle...so pretty:

We also got to see Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny!
What a special treat:

 Sweet Boy...he LOVED Disney World!
We decided to take in Mickey's Philharmagic...Love pictures of the boys in their 3D glasses:

and Finally, Winnie the Pooh was working!!!

We met up with the rest of the gang by the castle, and settled in to watch the parade and fireworks. Well, we weren't in the best spot to see the parade this time, but we had awesome seats for the castle light show and fireworks. That worked out fine because last time we were at Magic Kingdom, we were in a great spot to see the parade, but couldn't see the fireworks at all.  This time, Tinkerbell went right over us...so cool!

It was a magical day, and you haven't survived parenthood until you've had a day at Magic Kingdom with a 3 year old with a stomach bug:)

Rodeo Houston

The week before Spring Break, Paul took off the whole week, so we took the boys to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.  Tammy and her kids went, too, so it was a fun field trip for everyone!

Our first stop was the bull fighter's barrel:

 And the Barrel Racer's Barrel:
Once inside, we saw a lot of the animals at the AgVenture area.
The Longhorn is one of our favorites to see!

Some baby pigs were born while we were there, too, and we watched that from far away on a tv screen.  It was really cool (for me), but it led to a lot of questions from the older set of kids that I was prepared to answer:)

Tammy also introduced us to the penny press machines.  Really, we didn't need introduced to them...I've seen them before and done them a couple of times, but she mentioned that she and Bill started a "collection" when they first got married and have a Penny Passport where they add to them.  Well, we love a good collection of something, so we let the boys each do one!

Once outside in the beautiful sunshine (it was a gorgeous day by the way), we headed to Fun on the Farm, another one of our favorite areas!

Pretending to plant fake seeds to then receive a fake vegetable...fun:

 Driving the tractor:
 Milking the Cow:

 Making Corn Kernel Angels:
 Who's that Gangsta:

 Everyone with their Farm products:

We made it to the Pig Races in the late afternoon, and there was hardly anyone there!  It was awesome!

Leo even got to go up to the front and cheer...his pig lost though...bummer!

Tammy and the kids left, but we stayed for the real Rodeo that night.
The boys were mesmerized!

Judson's class had Rodeo Day on Tuesday before we went to the Rodeo, but he was sick, so he didn't get to go. On Thursday, he came home with this ADORABLE shirt that he was supposed to wear on Tuesday!  He loves wearing his Rodeo Shirt!
Yay for the Houston Rodeo!

Easter Bunny 2013

We went and saw the Easter Bunny again this year!
Judson was so excited to see him, so how could I resist!

Judson wore Gingerbread Socks to see the Easter Bunny...so funny!

I tried the whole time to get them to take a picture together, but Judson was insistent that he wanted a picture by himself.  I felt bad that I was trying to get him to go with his brother because that was going to be so much cheaper.  I was going to have to buy two pictures, and it was going to end up being about $60 for both...AHHH!  I had decided we needed to find a new Easter Bunny!
Well, when I got up there, I asked the girl about the digital download, and she said that if I was going to get that, she could put 6 different pictures on it, so I could get them together then separate if I wanted...SCORE!  So for $30, I got all these pictures!  They only printed off the 5X7 of the two of them with the border, but I can get prints of the others made anywhere I want!  So excited!

Still pretty pricey, but they were both pretty excited about it:)

Chick Fil A

On March 1, we met up with Allie and Amanda at Chick Fil A again!  It was a cold day, so we thought that would be best, and it was!!!

Allie tried her hand at taking our picture:

Me and my Judson!

 Allie and the Goof Ball!
He thought he was being pretty funny wearing his Pepperoni Pizza shirt to Chick Fil A!

Harleton in February

The boys and I headed up to my parent's in February!
For the first time in about 6 1/2 years, I forgot to take my camera!  AHH!!
Good thing I did have my phone!

The cousins started the weekend with a slumber party:

Then, they played and played and climbed and ran and paced at Kids Station!

We also got celebrate Uncle Barry's Birthday!
And Ride Bikes and scooters at Nana and Papa's!
