He Went To Bed
Smith Graduates
When I was in college, my friend Krystal started babysitting this adorable little baby named Smith. I'd tag along with her to babysit every chance I got because of he was just the most precious thing and they lived on the lake! It was beautiful and relaxing out there! Well, when Smith was about 18 months old, Krystal gave me the official babysitting reigns...she was getting married and had another guy she wanted to spend time with! Smith and I had the best times together! He was an AWESOME little guy, and then a few years later, he became a big brother to Lowery, then right before I moved to Kingwood, they had Forrest! They became part of my family...my parents and grandparents, my church family, everyone knew and loved them! It was so hard to leave them when I graduated and moved, but they were left in good hands...my sister took over, then when she had Preston, our cousin Georgetta got to love on them!
So, all that to say, SMITH GRADUATED from High School last Friday night!!!!!!

(these pictures are horrible because I was trying not to use my flash in the gorgeous church...didn't work out too well for me)
Smith's dad, David, got to present his diploma to him:
Smith with his mom and dad...David and Rebecca...they pretty much supported my spending habits from 1995-1999:) And thanks to David, I'm the Honda Fanatic that I am!
A Dilly of a Memorial Day
On Monday, Memorial Day, we had our friends Mae and Leo (and their Mommy and Daddy) over for a swim and pizza! Mae and Paul David were starting swim lessons the next day, so we wanted to get Mae in the water prior to the first lesson!
After our pizza lunch, we broke out the "Dilly Bars!"

After Christmas, we found some pretend Dairy Queen Dilly Bars in the Dollar Bins at Target. We got them, and it's one of the boy's favorite things to play with in the play kitchen. One day last week, Paul David said that he wanted a REAL Dilly Bar. Well, the nearest DQ to us is not really that close and kind of a pain to get to, so I did the next best thing...bought fake Dilly Bars at Kroger! He LOVES them! So, we shared our Dilly Bars with our friends!
These two are going to be a MESS together soon! They're going to be in the same class at MDO next year...

Sunday Swimming!
Patio Lights
Paul and I went to a party in March at one of the guys Paul works with. The party was in their backyard, and they had lights up all around their fence and on the patio! We fell in love with it! Since then, I've been on a mission to find us some lights, and finally Target came through and we got them put up! Paul also really liked the Tiki torches that Lance had lit at Julie's birthday party, so Lowe's hooked us up with those! We're hoping they'll help with the mosquitoes as well as looking like we're on a tropical vacation!
Ahhh, Paradise:)

Singing In Church
On Tuesdays at Preschool, the kids get to go to Special Moments in the Sanctuary. From what I can gather, the choir director, Mr. Gary, leads them in songs, and they're learning how to sit and act during church. On Sunday before school was out, they had all the preschoolers come up at the 11:00 service to sing some of the songs they'd learned. Mr. Gary had "made up" the songs to go with their Bible Verse each month, so they sang about four of them. SO CUTE! Paul David was really nervous to go up, and honestly, I didn't think he'd even make it up there. These pictures make it look like he was participating way more than he was because his participation was zilch unless you count rubbing his eyes and nose:)
We were so proud of him for going up there! What a big boy?? I'm sure it's pretty intimidating for a little one to be in front of all those people! Maybe next year, he'll stand up most of the time:) His teachers were so cute when I dropped him off on Monday...they said he did SO GOOD! I kind of laughed and wondered if they were there, but then Ms. Suzanne said, "Just for him to get up there was wonderful for HIM!" Apparently he's pretty shy and timid for them at school, and it made me very happy to hear her say that! She knows him very well!
