Brothers

They're having so much fun being brothers!

Swimming

We had a big day on Saturday. Two of Paul's friends from UT came over, and we cooked out burgers. After they left, we all got back in the pool for an afternoon swim...which is the best time to swim I think!

So, Daddy had told us not to get in the pool yet because he was doing something to it, so Paul David was walking around like this with his hands on his stomach. I asked him what he was doing, and he said, "Well, Daddy said not to get in the pool yet, so I'm keeping my hands here so I won't get in the pool!" Alrighty, then!

This guy got his goggles ready:

Paul David had been using some blue goggles at Mimi's pool, and the brand on them was Delfino. They were the only pair he'd use, and we decided that it was because they didn't pull his hair when he put them on. So, I searched Amazon and found some pretty cheap. He picked the orange ones (Texas Fight), and loves them...whew!

After our swim, Paul David decided to eat his burger we'd made him earlier (he had a headache or something and slept most of the time the guys were here).

After he was finished, Judson decided to finish it off:

Well, he didn't finish it off, but he ate way more than you'd think. He just looked so funny with that big old burger!

I really felt like this was our first real, normal day. Paul and I even rented a movie and watched it Saturday night. Great Day for sure!!!

The Fabulous Five

I stole that title from Amanda's post...it was too perfect!!!
Click over there and see the picture of the Fab Five last August...too cute!
Anyway, Amanda and her crew came out Friday to spend the day with us. We started with a tour of the house, then started the long process of getting 6 kids ready for the pool (we had an extra baby, Taylor, and luckily we had an extra set of grown up hands with Mimi!) We finally, got in the pool, then spent the rest of the time chasing babies! Mimi got the good end of the deal because her baby Taylor sat in the float the WHOLE TIME and never made a peep! Lucky her!
After a pizza lunch and changing, the babies took GREAT naps while the big boys played downstairs. When they woke up, we headed to the gameroom to play a bit:

Allie went straight for my old doll...such a girl!

When we came back downstairs, Allie got in the bouncy seat that Amanda (Taylor's mommy) had brought back...Judson had done it earlier. Silly babies:

Our traditional group shot. They were watching the Chicken Dancing Chicken, so no one's looking at me, but at least they're all in the picture!
Spence and Judson doing the Chicken Dance with the Chicken:

As always it was a terrific day! We can't wait until next time!

Paul David At The Game

When we left for the game Monday night, it was raining. Paul David reminded me of his Cars Umbrella and asked if he could take it. So, I dug it out, then as soon as we got downtown, it stopped raining. From the back seat, a little voice said, "Why did it stop raining? I want it to rain so I can use my umbrella!" We promised him that rain or not, he could use his umbrella.

And we did...and it was ADORABLE!!!!

I've mentioned before that Paul David is just not that into photos right now, so it is very hard to get a good one much less a lot of good ones. I wanted to post the ones I got though, just to remember this FUN stage we're going through:

He's still a cutie pie even with the weird faces I catch on the camera!!!

Popsicle Break

Paul David loves Popsicles...LOVES them!
We have a special shelf for them in the freezer!
I've taught him how to open the freezer!
He eats a lot of popsicles!
His favorite question is:

"Mommy, can I have a popsicle or not?"

Friday, I let Little Man have his own...by himself!
He thought he was SO BIG!

He didn't quite get the whole stick helps it not be so cold on your hands or be so sticky thing:

But he sure did enjoy it!

Our Fun Days with Friends

Our second day of the Holt's visit began with just me and Judson. Everyone else slept in until almost 9:00!!! I'm guessing they liked our beds!!!!

So while we waited, Judson and I went through a bag of outgrown clothes of her boys that she brought for us. Judson LOVED this hat:

After breakfast, we hit the pool! We were out there from 10-2...it was so much fun, and wore those boys OUT!

Walker took this picture of me with my boys underwater...don't worry, Judson does so well going under water...he puts himself under on his own now!

Griffin had a blast, and this
' Puddle Jumper floatie is awesome:

Judson playing Peek a Boo with me:

After we came in, the little boys took 3 hour naps...woohoo!

They all woke up HAPPY:

So, we ordered pizza and headed back out to the pool for Round 2! We were out there at about 6, put Judson to bed about 8:30, then the rest of us got out around 9:30...AWESOME!!!!!

The next day, the boys got in as much playing as they could while Krystal packed up:

Judson kills me with the helmet and bat...he really thinks that he's about 3 years old:)

It fits better this way:

Judson came in the kitchen and sat down, so Walker came in and sat beside him. Next thing I knew Paul David came in and sat down, too:

Walker loves the babies:

Then, wouldn't you know it but Griffin joined them...Crazy! I told Krystal that if I'd wanted them to do that, it never would have happened.

Here Paul David's giving Griffin a hug...weird kind of hug:

Griffin is SO STINKING CUTE:

Sweet Walker:

Check this OUT...yeah, all 4 looking and smiling...all the stars aligned:

It was such an awesome visit! The boys had so much fun, Krystal and I had even more fun, and Paul David asks everyday when they're coming back over!
