Fun Around The House

Judson's not the biggest fan of the exersaucer anymore, but I still put him in it...especially when he needs to poop...I'm so sorry that I keep talking about poop on here. It seems to be such a huge part of our lives!

A couple of weeks ago, the Methodist Church had a Baby Daze sale where you can sell used Baby items and buy used baby items. I got a bunch of cute stuff (including a big play slide thing for outside), but I got Paul David these adorable Spiderman PJ's with web wings for $2! He loves them!

In the picture above, he's doing "How Big is Paul David?" "So Big!" We're trying to teach it to Judson, and Paul David keeps asking for us to do it for him!

Playing together:

Hope everyone's having a great weekend!

Bananas

Yesterday, I gave Judson little cup up pieces of a banana. That's so funny to give to babies...they're so slippery. He did pretty well with it...he's really gotten good at feeding himself!

"How did you like the banana, Judson?"

I think he liked it!

Crawling In Action

I cannot say it enough...
He is just too cute!

Judson Meets the Step

I have so many stories to tell, but my days go by so quickly that I just run out of time to write them all down! Here's one cute one about Paul David though...
Some background knowledge first:
Paul works a lot with a guy named Kevin.
When he comes home in the evenings, he empties his pockets on the bar.
He leaves every morning through the laundry room.
Paul kisses us all hello when he gets home from work.
We eat at Chuy's a lot:)
Paul likes to talk to me when he comes home (much to the dismay of Paul David...even when he was 2 weeks old!)

So, the other day, Paul David comes through and puts on his bike helmet and starts riding his tricycle around the dining room. He says, "I'm going to work like Daddy!" (Paul doesn't ride a tricycle to work though). Anyway, he rides over to the laundry room, gets off and goes and sits in there. I asked him what's he's doing..."I'm in my office!" (I guess since that's where Paul leaves through when he goes to work?)
So he gets back on and rides some more...then he says, "I'm HOME...come give me a hug and a kiss!" So I do. He goes and puts some money he had in his pockets on the bar and says, "Come sit on the couch and talk to me!" I just laughed and sat down. Here's the rest of the conversation:

Me: What did you do at work?
PD: I work with Kebin.
Me: Oh, did you and Kevin have lunch?
PD: Yeah...we ate at Chuy's.
Me: YUM...what else did you do today?
PD: Oh, I just work.

It was priceless.

So on to Judson. I sat him down in the floor the other day with a big basket of toys...his toys.
I look over and he's doing this:
That's a mini M&M container...I guess Paul David put it in there. All those toys, and that's what he picks to play with/eat on! Really, do we even need toys, people!

Another observation that I've made is that Judson LOVES to get to Paul David's toys and "play" with them...by play, I mean eat them.
Paul David is having a ball playing with all of Judson's baby toys! CRAZY!

So, since Judson's been crawling EVERYWHERE, he's been trying to conquer this little step up we have between the living room and dining room. It's been funny to watch.

He did it finally! For awhile he would make it over there, then just cry because he was so frustrated. Now, he really is EVERYWHERE!

Project 365

I need permission...

As you know, I did the Project 365 last year. I had big plans that I would blog the picture of the day and the journaling over on my 365 blog so you all could see it!

Well, I actually completed the 365 project...I took a picture almost every day in 2009. On the days I forgot, I've gone back and put in fillers or got a picture off of someone else's camera (Mimi or Nana's).

As for the 365 album, it's got all the pictures in it:) Awesome, I know! The bad thing is that I'm trying to get the journaling completed on the cute journaling cards...all handwritten.

The blog...well, it's WAY behind. I had uploaded some pictures to it back in October, but never got around to publishing them, so I did that the other day.

Now, I need your permission to let this blog thing GO...I want so badly to put every picture on it with the journaling, but I really don't think I have the energy to pull that off. However, I will put up the picture, but no journaling.

Then, when you come to see me or I come to see you say, "Hey, Candice, where's that 365 Album...I'd love to sit and read it!" Then you can see it in real life!

Is that ok?

Judson On the Move

Judson has really started crawling! Now the fun begins! He's finding every single piece of lint and hair in the area! He's getting better and better everyday!

Bathtime

It was another traumatic event!
I just do not understand it!

He even tried to escape this time!

But how cute is his new towel???

Finally a smile!

Sunday and the Harlem Globetrotters!

Paul David was PASSED OUT Sunday morning...so sweet!

After lunch, we went to Longview High School Gym to see the Harlem Globetrotters! It was the best place to see them! They were hilarious! I think the adults enjoyed it just as much as Paul David!

After the game, the players stood around the gym and the kids could take their balls and such up to get autographs. Paul David wasn't too into it, but he got 2 autographs.

When we got home, Paul David wanted his jersey on, and he just played and played with his basketball. He's so cute in the shirt. It's a t-shirt, but it has a jersey printed on it...so cute!

He surprised me by really being able to dribble!

Try not to look at all the stuff sitting around in the pictures...we'd just unloaded the car when I took these!
