What Has Paul David Been Up To???

Well, first Paul David went to Kendall's Sundae Birthday Party at the Park.

He climbed through tunnels:

He slid down slides:

He hung out with cute girl cousins:

He sang Happy Birthday to Kendall. He had yummy Ice Cream Cupcakes and ice cream with toppings. He watched Kendall open her presents. He had a blast at Kendall's party.

So what else does Paul David do while he's at my parents:

He jumps in the baby bed with his cousins:

He takes good naps:

He eats powdered donuts for breakfast (oh, yeah, he does that here, too):

He takes orders for grass:

He adds up the cost of a pallet of grass:

He talks to the grass farm about the next order:

He takes a lunch break and enjoys a football Dr. Pepper:

He visits Shay where there's always Ice Cream:

He goes to Chuck E Cheese for a little air hockey:

and games:

He jumps on the couch with cousins:

He cuddles with Papa:

He gets tickled by Papa:

He feeds the fish with Papa:

He has the best time. Thanks for the fun Nana and Papa!

We were so glad to see our little man this morning! I think he was glad to see us, and hopefully, he'll want to stay with us tomorrow!

By the way, all these pictures were taken with my Mom's first digital camera (circa 2002). I accidentally picked hers up off the island thinking it was ours and brought it with us. Bummer because she didn't get as good of pictures as she usually does.

You Say Ketchup...I say Catch Up...

It's actually been REALLY boring around here this week with our little baseball throwing, helmet sporting, glove wearing, bat swinging precious little noisemaker at my parents. It hasn't been quiet with our other little noisemaker still present, but a lot calmer for sure! He's been having a blast (so much fun that he won't even stop to talk to us) and will be home tomorrow:)

Judson was super smiley over the weekend, and on Monday, he spent the day giving me these gummy grins. Oh, it melts my heart!

Since my Mickey Mouse Once Upon a Christmas Watcher is out of the house, I've been watching all my programs whenever I want. That means that I have been watching WAY too much TV and playing on the computer too much! I want you all to know though that I am rooting for Torie on HGTV Design Star (she's from Houston you know) and am totally addicted to ChainRX on Facebook.

I'm usually engaged in these activities while holding and/or feeding Mr. Smiley Pants, which is 2/3 of my day. Mr. Fusspot still comes out when he gets tired, but for the most part, as long as I'm holding him in my lap, he's content. We have Jeckyll and Hyde moments though...he goes from smiles, coos and content to beserk-o crazy out of control crying in 2.2 seconds flat!

Yesterday, the long awaited day arrived...our Longhorn Season tickets were delivered! We have a busy, busy September planned, but it will be so much fun! Paul David is going to LOVE it more than life itself this year!

Judson and Daddy moment last night! How could you not rush home to see this:

Tonight, Paul and I have a date to go to Fuddruckers. It'll be nice to go out to eat with my hubs...hopefully, I won't embarrass us both by how much I eat tonight. I CANNOT get full. I eat all day long and still want more. After we eat, we're going to run by Kroger to check out some prices for the Double Coupon Day tomorrow! We're wondering if it's going to be worth the madness or not. Maybe seeing how much things are will help us decide!

Well, I'm off to finish my ChainRX game...

Our Weekend...

We headed to my parent's house this weekend. It was Judson's first long car trip, and his first overnight trip. He did great! We stopped twice for him to eat, and he fell asleep as soon as we got back on the road both times. He only had about a 40 minute period that he cried off and on right before we got to my parent's.

We also celebrated Kendall's 3rd birthday...she is such a doll!

Judson got lots of loving from Aunt April:

He was all smiles for everyone at the shower we went to on Saturday:

Our attempt at getting a picture of the four grandbabies...Paul David was not interested in the picture at all:

More smiles...

Judson and Mommy

Mommy and her boys:

A much better picture of the four of them...those kiddos are too cute for words...

Judson and Shay

Preston and Judson

Kendall and Judson...she could not keep her hands off of Judson...it was so cute. She's such the little mommy!

Papa and Judson

Judson got lots of kisses this weekend:

Judson and J.T.

Ahhh, this is what babies do in the car????
For those of you that don't know, Paul David HATED the car with a passion until we turned him around in his car seat. We were nervous to see how Judson would do in the car on the long trip, but once we got to Nacogdoches, and he'd slept most of the way, we declared it a success! I told Paul that if Judson screamed the whole rest of the way and then screamed every other time we came to my parents, he'd already done better than Paul David ever did. Yes, that's how bad it was!

Paul David stayed at my parent's for the week. Oh, how I'm already missing this sweet face:

I know he's having the time of his life, but it's hard not to miss him!

Happy Friday!!!!

Is this shirt not perfect????
Paul David has one, too, and if I could get him to wear anything but Astros and Longhorn shirts, I would have put him in it!

I think that may be the sweetest picture of the two of them ever! I am so in love with both of these sweet boys!

Row, Row, Row Your Boat!
Everytime I give Judson a bath, I can tell that Paul David is itching to take one in the tub himself. Well, the other night, he got a hold of the tub and took a little ride...and he used to fit in it, too. Breaks my heart that he's gotten so big!

Judson went for his 2 month appointment this morning.

Poor legs after the shots. He also had his first dose of Tylenol this morning (he even got to skip the first dosing line because of his weight). I remember being nervous about giving Paul David Tylenol at his 2 month appointment, too. I'm not nervous about the medicine itself, but that my kid could be the kid that it doesn't make sleepy but makes him HYPER! It always made Paul David sleepy (as a matter of fact, I remember after his 2 month shots, that I was so amazed that he actually slept some that day!). So far, Judson's been sleepy this morning, too!

Judson wasn't too fazed by the shots...look at that sweet smile!
So, he weighed: 12 lbs. 10 oz (90th percentile)
25 inches long (95th percentile)
Head Circ. 39 1/4 cm (25th percentile)

Whoa baby! I even put him in a 3-6 month sleeper when we got home. He's getting so big so fast. You blink, and they're grown:(

We're headed to my parents this weekend for more firsts.
Judson's first long car trip.
Judson's first overnight trip.
Judson's first trip to my parent's house.
Judson's first time to meet a lot of the family (at my cousin's wife's baby shower tomorrow).
Lots of firsts coming his way!

Have a good Weekend everyone!

Comparison

I totally forgot to add Paul David's 2 month picture to the last post, so I added them to the end of the post. If you've already looked at, you owe it to yourself to go and look at Paul David. He was so bald and his little slippers are too cute!

2 Months Old

In some ways, I can't believe it's been two months.

In other ways, I'm thinking, "it's only been two months?"
It's hard to remember our lives without our sweet baby boy!

We have been blessed with the most precious baby.

And we've all survived 2 short/long months!

Happy 2 Months Little Buddy!
You are all we could have ever wished for!

And for comparison, here are Paul David's 2 month Bear Pictures:

It was December and aren't those slippers adorable????
Check out how bald he was.
