Bike Riding!!!!

Our Friend, Holly gave Judson his very own little Spiderman Bike!
It's just the right size and HE LOVES IT!

Even Bigger News...Paul David learned to ride his bike WITHOUT training wheels!
It was glorious, and surprisingly a lot easier to teach him than I anticipated!
Since he learned to ride without training wheels, we've ridden bikes to school a few times!
This was the first time we did it!  He's still a little wobbly, but man is he faster than he was with those training wheels!

Judson the Artist

Judson came in one day, and said, "Look mommy, I drew you and Daddy and Brother and Me!"

and he had, and it BLEW me away!

I had no idea he could do that, but it made my heart very happy that he can!
He does stuff like this, and I think, wow, he's so ahead of the game, then I remember he's not 2 anymore...he's almost 4...he still looks like he's 2 though or maybe I just want to freeze him so that he can't grow up anymore!

Valentine's Day

Sweet Boys snuggling on the couch!

The Day before the Boys' Parties, we prepped their Valentine's.
Judson added the stickers to his envelopes:
Paul David licking his envelopes (that we had to reopen because he'd left out the valentine from every one of them...he'd gotten the mustache in them all though):
 Mom's Little Sweet Heart:
Paul David had to make his own Valentine Box this year, so I showed him my Valentine's Board on Pinterest, and he decided on this WWE one:
It was actually quite easy and looked adorable!

Paul David at his Valentine's Day Party...ahem, Friendship Party:

Valentine's Night...
We usually don't do Valentine's Day gifts for each other (Paul and I did our first married V-Day together, then decided we'd rather just have the money, so we stopped doing those), but this year after Christmas, Paul David started talking about Skylanders.  It was all he talked about, and the boys at school were talking about them and playing them because they'd all gotten them for Christmas.  We told him he could save up to buy them if he wanted them, and he had been working SO hard to save his money (our reward system at the moment is quarters).  Anyway, he was telling us the other boys wouldn't let him play Skylanders at school because he didn't have any.  That made me feel awful because had I known this Skylanders thing was going to be popular in Kindergarten, I could have gotten one really cheap on Black Friday.  Anyway, all this to justify the fact that this year, our kids got Valentine's Day gifts! HA!
Judson got Mario characters:
 And Paul David got Skylanders:
I made Deep Dish Pizza for dinner (and it was super yummy):
It was a nice, fun Valentine's Day for us!
We celebrate our love every day, but it's nice that a day is set aside that we can be sure to tell others in our life that we love them, too!

Pirate Day

On January 31, Judson's School had Pirate and Princess Day!
He didn't want to dress up like a Princess, so we opted for the Pirate!

 Cutest Pirate EVER!
Arggggh!

Harleton in January

Our visit in January was a quick one.  Nana had signed up for a sewing class, so while she was there, the boys and I went and played miniature golf...it's a favorite thing of theirs to do, and they got to try out their new golf clubs Nana and Papa gave them for Christmas:

Then, they played some more at Nana and Papa's!

There was also a lot of scooter riding!  Nana and Papa have the best driveway to ride scooters and bikes!
We tried to make a Cousin Totem Pole:)

It was a quick, but fun weekend!!!

The Children's Museum with Allie

One day in January, Judson and I met up with Allie and Amanda at the Children's Museum!
The first thing Judson asked to do was play in the Police Car...WHAT and REALLY???

Next up was painting!  Allie's painting was fabulous and actually looked like a person...Judson's was well a red blob with a blue blob painted over resulting in a purple blob...boys:
Judson and I had fun with the crazy mirrors:
Amanda mentioned on our last outing that we needed to get a picture of us together.  We tried to get Judson to get one for us...we should have asked Allie...

Judson had a ball talking on the phones!
He is so cute!

On two of the phones, you can actually see the person you're talking to on the little screen...very, very cute!
We all crammed into the car...
This little girl really should try to come out of her shell more often...ha!  She is personality plus and absolutely adorable!!!!
Our two little scientists who created Bucky Balls while we were in the lab...just to put a personal High School connection to that, when Amanda and I were in one of our HS science classes, we split up into teams of some sort and one of the teams were named The Bucky Balls...crazy!!!
Of course it was a super fun day with our super fun friends!  Can't wait for our next adventure...need to plan that:)

Random January

Here are some random January Photos...mostly from my phone...

Nana and Papa got the boys Angry Birds towels for Christmas, so they posed for a pic to send them...sure are cute for a couple of Angry Birds:

Judson had his last follow up appointment at the ENT!  He's only had one ear infection since October, so it looks like his little ears have matured and we won't have to get new tubes...YAY!
 Foster turned FIVE!!!
He celebrated at Chuck E Cheese!

Paul David's new picture face...it's lovely!
One of Paul David's Kindergarten friends, Jaxon, had his Wrestling Birthday Party at the Park after school one day!  Jaxon's mommy made all the kids WWE Wrestling shirts, which of course, Paul David thinks is the coolest thing ever!
The Wii has been a HIT, especially the Wii Bowling!  Judson can finally do it all by himself, which is awesome for me...score!
Speaking of Score...check out their score from one of their games!
Paul David is blue, and Judson is red...
Notice that Paul David got a strike or spare on every frame except the last two...pretty awesome!  Paul is proud to have some gamers to follow in his footsteps:)
I finally finished my 2009 scrapbook, and Judson has really enjoyed looking at it!
He loves to look at all the UT games and when he was a baby!
And this is why I scrapbook...
The beginning of January was really cold, but the last few weeks of it were BEAUTIFUL!!!
We spent a lot of time on the play set every afternoon!
Check out that gorgeous blue sky...and those cute boys:

One night the boys got treated to a bubble bath in our bath tub...

Fun times in January!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

The boys and I had a lot of fun making their Valentine's this year!  I had found some mustaches on Amazon for pretty cheap, so when they came in, we took some pictures!  They make me laugh:)

We sent the above one to all our friends that both boys share!

Then, I made individual ones on one sheet and printed them on a 5X7 print (which are only $.38 at Sam's...they're $1.99 at Walgreens...just FYI).
I cut these in half, then since the 2013 only barely printed on the bottom of them, I actually sat and corner punched them...I know, I'm a good Mommy!

Luckily, the boys were able to do the rest...they put their Valentine and a mustache in an envelope then sealed it with a heart sticker for each of their friends at school.  I was pretty proud of myself for coming up with a non-candy Valentine...not that I mind candy valentines at all.  I'm looking forward to seeing what they all get, I guess I just think it's nice to get something besides candy sometimes, too!  And mustaches are SO FUN!!!

I think they turned out really, really cute, but I kind of feel like a slacker because Paul David didn't have to write his name 21 times...but in our defense, he has 2 names, so that would really be 42 times:)  I saved him!!!  I'm sure the day will come when they just want the store bought ones and he'll have to write it! HA!
