The Cousins in January

Cousins At Play

and just being plain CUTE!
These two are adorable together! Kendall still wants to "hold" Judson! It's so funny to me because he's almost as big as she is!

Oh, My, Heart!

Oh, the rest of my Heart:

Aunt April introduced Duck, Duck, Goose to my kiddos...I think hers already knew about the game! They loved it! Judson thought it was HILARIOUS to bonk everyone on the head!

So Silly:

Playing Star Wars

After church, Preston and Kendall came over with light sabers for all the boys! They had so much fun running around the yard playing Star Wars...at least I guess that's what they were playing!

I'm pretty sure Kendall played, too, but I didn't get any pictures of her with the light saber! There's more of her coming in the next posts:)

Baby Ella

Saturday, my mom, Judson, Shay and I headed to see Georgetta and for me and Judson to meet Baby Ella Gayle for the first time! She is so beyond adorable!!!

Judson and Me with Ella...I wouldn't let J get too close to her! I could just imagine him poking her eyes out while saying, "IIII's!"

Precious in Purple:

Shay and Ella:

After a little while, Aunt Cindy and Roxie Lynn came over...how cute is she, too:

Checking out her little cousin:

Loving on her, too:

Great Aunt Shelia with Ella:

Great Uncle Danny with Ella:
How tiny does Ella look in his arms????

Daddy and Paul David had been fishing, then came over when they were finished!
They caught one fish:)

Paul David and Ella:

He was so sweet to her:

Check out all that dark hair:

Without the bow...she slept the entire 2 hours we were there! Such a content, sweet baby!

I enjoyed every second of seeing the newest member of our family! I also really enjoyed visiting with Getta, Trey, Aunt Cindy, Shay and my Mom! Such an amazing gift!

Fun With Papa

Last weekend, the boys and I went up to my parents for our January visit!
Paul had to work late on Friday, so we just headed up right after lunch. Nana and Papa were ready for us when we got there and playing started immediately!

I'm not sure exactly what they were doing, but they thought it was fun and hilarious!

20 Months Old

Judson turned 20 Months Old ...that's only 4 months until he's 2!
These last 20 months have been the most amazing experience for us. Watching 2 boys growing up together is an awesome thing to watch. They're starting to play together (and annoy one another) like brothers and friends. We couldn't ask for anything more!

And now for 20 Things About Judson:
1. He's a snuggler...he lays his head on your shoulder when he's tired, and he'll sit in your lap to be close to you...so sweet!
2. He's an antagonizer...especially with his brother. He knows the buttons to push to set him off!
3. He's an eater...the boy loves food! His favorite is SNACK time! He'll eat just about anything, but he really likes things that you're eating!
4. He is NOSY! If you're doing something, reading something, watching something, he wants to be right there with you! He is all up in our business!
5. He's a talker! We can't really understand everything, but I can just tell that he's going to talk, talk, talk like some other males in this house!

6. He's a flirt! He can have a girl, woman, Grandma, wrapped around his little finger with just the bat of an eye!
7. He's the champion "Ring Around the Rosies" Player! The boy LOVES him some Ring Around the Rosies!
8. He's a Writer. He loves, pens, crayons, pencils, Magna Doodles.
9. He's a Longhorn Fan! If he sees his Texas jersey in his closet, he insists on wearing it!
10. He's a button pusher, and not just Paul David's. He cannot wait to go to bed and take a nap because he gets to push the button on his sound machine and night light!

11. He's a Milk Drinker! He will even drink his plain white!
12. He's a Train Whistler! He can't make any of the sounds for animals, but he's got the train sound down!
13. He's a Body Parts Namer and Identifier! He's got all the different body parts down (hair, ears, eyes, nose, mouth, belly, diaper, shoes, hands)...and watch out when he identifies your eyes:)
14. He's a 4-Wheeler Rider! He's enjoyed his little 4-wheeler more than any other outside toy yet! He can still only ride in a straight line, but he thinks that's pretty fun!
15. He's a chaser! If someone is running, he's chasing them!

16. He's still an Original Hair Owner! We still haven't cut any of his hair...
17. He's a Tooth Brusher! Anytime we go upstairs, he heads right to the bathroom and gets a toothbrush and toothpaste!
18. He's a MESS! If you tell him not to do something, he'll reach like he's going to do it again, and just look at you and SMILE! It's so hard not to laugh most of the time!
19. He's a Pretender! He already makes noises for the sharks and moves them like they're swimming. He pretends to get water out of the Play Kitchen fridge and bring it to us. Then he puts it in the "dishwasher!"
20. He's a Cutie Pie! I just don't know how we all stand how adorable this child is! Cute in every way and Loved soooooo much!

Kindergarteners Gone High School!

I've talked about my friends Pam and Shelby on here before. I had Shelby in Kindergarten in 2002 (the year Paul and I met:), and I LOVE HER and her mom! We've stayed in touch all these years, and we love, love, love to see them!
Well, I saw Pam in Kroger on Monday and invited them over to see our new house! They came over on Wednesday and brought another former Kindergartener, Megan with them!

To say the boys LOVED them is an understatement! Paul David did not stop moving or talking the whole time they were here! It was quite comical! Pam said, "He doesn't have any communicative skill problems!"

Shelby and Judson!

My Kindergarteners are now big high schoolers, but I couldn't be prouder of the beautiful, smart, loving women they're becoming!

ARGH!

Thursday was Pirate and Princess Day at Paul David's Preschool!
His teachers told us about this day way back at the Halloween Party, so after Halloween, I snagged this cute pirate outfit and accessories for 1/2 price!

Paul David's never been much into Pirates, so dressing him in this was quite the ordeal!
I finally got the pants, shirt and belt on him and told him that the other stuff was in the bag. He wanted it all off, but I told him his teachers could take it off when he got in the classroom. I knew that once he saw the others dressed up, he'd be cool with it!

I was right!
When I picked him up, he'd totally embraced the Pirate Costume:

And at home, he played pirate all day long:

"Argh"

It was especially fun to chase down the enemy:

It's a pirate's life for us:)

Catching Some ZZZZZ's

I've been trying for weeks to take some pictures of Judson sleeping! He's always awake and sitting up in the bed though! Today was the day! He was out like a LIGHT!

Without socks, mind you! He takes those things off every.single.time!
Sweet, Sleepy Baby!

Little Mama

Paul David likes to call me Little Mama a lot. Like, he'll just randomly say to me, "You're a good Little Mama!" Isn't that sweet? Sometimes, he'll change it to, "You're a good Big Mama." but I'm trying to discourage that one due the drop in my self esteem.

The other day I was playing with Judson. He would turn away from me, and I would say, "Where's Mama's Baby?" He'd turn around and laugh. Then we'd do it again. We did it about three times, then the fourth time I said "Where's Mama's Baby?", a little voice from in the living room said, "I'm over here on the couch! Your Baby's right here!"

Mission Accomplished...He knows that he'll always be my BABY! I just want to stay his Little Mama!
