"And All the People Say "Hookem' Horns!"

Those were the first words Paul David said once we got settled down in our seats at the game on Saturday! It was a bit overwhelming for him at first! It's a bit overwhelming for anyone at first! There's so much to see and take in! I guess when he saw that EVERYONE was in burnt orange and longhorns stuff like him, he felt like all the people were like him! So, "All the people say Hookem' Horns!" It cracked us up!

Last year, our seats were terrible. Well, the view from the seats really wasn't that bad (they were in the nose bleed section though). The walk to the seats was HORRIBLE! Think the highest you can possibly go, walking up ramps carrying three seats, a diaper bag, a camera bag, and a 25 pound 2 year old. HORRIBLE!

So this year, Paul asked to be moved and gave a little donation:) Saturday, we got to our seats and WOW!!!!! Amazing what a little donation will do for you! Think the south end zone and go up 25 rows...yep, that's where we were! To get to our seats, we walked up the 15 or so steps in the breezeway thing, then up 6 steps to our seats! Ahhhh, AMAZING! You can tell from the pictures that we were pretty stinking close to the action!

This is way on the other side of the field when the players come out:

Colt McCoy telling the guys to get down there in that end zone:

What do you think he was telling this guy:

Hut Hut:

The Horns Won and at the end, they showed the tower on the big screen right as they lit it up orange! Paul David thought it was the coolest thing when he saw it again as we were walking to our car (which was super close since they also sent us parking passes with our tickets this year!) He kept talking about the "office that was orange!" He calls the skyscrapers in Houston, the offices!

As you can see, we had a fantastic time! It was tiring, and it was a lot of work to get it all together, but SO worth it!

And all the people say "Hookem' Horns!"

Longhorn Boy...

Paul David had a blast at the game! I feel like it was the first game that he really got it...and he really didn't get it all! You can tell that Paul's so happy to have a buddy to go to the games with now! It will be even better when both his little buddies are old enough to go! He's already talking about tailgating when they get older!

Here are just some images of Paul David at the game:

Mister 3 Months Old!

Oh, Judson, how did you get to be 3 months old already????
It's so easy to get you to smile now. You make lots of laughing noises, so it won't be long until we hear a real giggle out of you! You're not too keen on sleeping through the night yet or sleeping more than an hour at a time during the day. Hey, if you'll sleep an hour a couple of times a day, I'll take it (it's way more than your brother would do for me!) I think that once we get through this crazy, colic period, you're going to be a pretty laid back baby. You're pretty content to sit in someone's lap or lay around and not roll over (unlike your brother, too).

You're just too cute for words little Judson:

Big Brother Paul David at 3 months:

"Hey, there are my feet again!"

Paul David had the same ideas at this age, too:
The bottom of this outfit is ADORABLE, too! Remember, the front says, "Silly Monkey"

"Seriously, enough with all the pictures, Mom!"

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this smile...

It reminds me of this one:
I thought that this one was precious. This is how he looks most of the time. He's so "pretty" and serious. He's really checking out the world around him! He loves to sit up and observe. He's already found the TV and likes to watch Daddy play video games.

Our Sweet Baby Boy...already 3 Months Old...time be still:

Then, we were bombarded by you know who. Lots of Brotherly Kisses happen in this house:

What's that??? You're almost 3 years Old...NO WAY...time be still:

"Bye, Bye Mommy!"

Paul David had Meet the Teacher yesterday morning. He really already knows the teachers (Mrs. Natasha was his teacher during the summer and Mrs. Marlene and Mrs. Kristen were with his class on the playground all last year!), but we wanted to go anyway. At first, I thought he was going to cry because there was another little boy screaming and his mom was pulling him in the classroom. We walked in, and he gave me Lovey and went off to play. I talked to the teachers, and after about 10 minutes, he says, "Bye, Bye Mommy!" He said it about 5 times until we left. I think he'll be ready! He played with that toy forever! Notice that all the balls are in the same colored holes...he's so smart:)

Dinosaur Park

Wednesday morning, we ventured back out to the park...this time we walked to our park. I put Judson in the Moby, and pushed Paul David in the stroller. On the way home, I pushed Judson and Paul David walked. I thought he'd take an awesome nap, but of course he "can't want to take a nap."

"Seriously, Mom...enough with the pictures!"

"I'm a big boy...I can walk on the edge!"

He concentrated so hard:

And William came to play, too:

This cracked me up. Paul David said, "I'm a big boy. I help clean up!" He was putting all the pine needles on the steps in the holes. If only he would "be a big boy" and clean up the living room for me!

Judson in the orange stroller:

And by Thursday, our nice, cool weather was gone...just as quick as it came! Hopefully, it will be back soon!

Smiley Baseball Bottom...

Both these boys have LOVED laying on the bathroom mat. It's so funny because Paul David did the same thing at this age...they both just smile and coo while laying in the bathroom. Go figure.
Paul David:

How CUTE is the bottom of this onesie:
Judson's hair is so long in the back. I found a hair yesterday that was super size long. He seemed to lose some for awhile, but he just has so much. He'll probably need a haircut before he's two for sure!

400th Post!

Wow...400 posts...who knew I had so much to say! I'm so, so, so happy that I started this blog and even happier that I returned to it last spring! I personally love to go back and see what was going on at different times in our lives. Just recently, I went back and reread all that I wrote while we were in the hospital having Judson...wow, that was CRAZY! I'm so glad that I have that written down though!

Paul David had a first the other day...

Thursday night (completely out of the blue), he said to me "I do Hookem' Horns!" and He did it (with a little thumb action, but a lot better than the one finger one he'd been doing).

He and Daddy have been practicing it for the game this weekend:
(I'm so bummed that this picture turned out blurry)

Sunday at lunch, we went and ate Mexican food...as you can see Paul David got most of his on his clothes. The look on his face is just precious:

Judson's rare sweet moment this weekend...he's been crazy fussy all weekend, yesterday and now today:

"Who??? ME...fussy...no way Jose!"

Yummy, Yummy Hands

Paul's been talking about how nice it's been outside (who knew??) So this morning, Paul David and Judson both were up before 8 (so that meant that I was up before 8, too...yuck!), so I loaded them up and took them to the park. It was 72 degrees...awesome!

Judson slept some (but only if I kept him moving):

Paul David played a lot!

I took a few pictures, but not nearly as many as I would have like...someone needed to be carried around after awhile!

I've been in kind of a funk with taking pictures lately. I was really looking forward to having Judson and taking his pictures outside to get really good ones. Reality is that it has been TOO HOT! Then it seems when I do take some pictures, the ones I like are blurry or the lighting is bad or something. Lately, I've been less than enthused to get even my one picture a day taken. I think that part of it, too, is that I don't have time to do with my pictures what I like to with them. I've got lots of plans to work work work on our way to Austin this weekend! Hopefully, this nicer weather and going to the park will help me get my picture groove back!

Words from Paul David...

The other day, Judson had some drool (yes, he's already drooling...crazy) that got on his clothes. Paul David came over and said, "Oh, no he spilled!" and went to get a burp cloth. I thought it was so cute!
