Houston Livestock Show

Last Wednesday while Nana was here, we went with our friends to the Houston Livestock Show. They have a really fun kid's area with a petting zoo, Birthing Center, Chicks hatching from eggs, Pig Races, Fun on the Farm, Rabbits, Goats, Sheep, Cows, Pigs, Bees...lots of stuff for sure! We went with William and Mia, and Mae, Leo and Tammy. The key to a good experience at the Livestock Show is to go in the afternoon after all the field trips have gone home for the day! We left our house at noon and entered Reliant Center at about 1:30 (we had to park on the backside of some lot, then take the tram, then walk with our stroller brigade). I think we saw one field trip maybe. It was AWESOME! We had plenty of room to move and see the animals!

In the pictures, you'll see a baby cow...it was only 2 hours old when I took the pictures...so sweet! You'll also see us with a Longhorn...it weight 2200 pounds...holy smokes, it was BIG!
There's a picture of two little brown things hugging...those are little kangaroos that were in the petting zoo...that you couldn't actually pet.
You'll also see Mae and William riding the escalator...that was the one thing I think William asked to do...it was his own little ride, and he was so happy to be on it!

We had the best time of course! We will for sure be back next year...and hopefully, we can park a little bit closer:)
