Since my friends were going to be in town for Homecoming, we decided to have our 1st Annual Halloween Carnival in conjunction with that. We had 70 people come, 34 were kids. It was a blast. We had some little games for them to play with prizes and candy. We posted the rules and how to earn the prize, and as far as we know, it worked out wonderfully. The older kids that "got it" seemed to have fun, while our toddlers rearranged most of the games all night and ate suckers. Can you say, "Sugar High?" That's what you were on if you were 2!
We had hot dogs and chili, train rides, and a hay ride (which included a barking dog that followed us for about 10 miles.)
Here's a collage of most of the costumes. I tried to get them all, but wasn't very lucky.
It was so much fun for us to plan and see everyone enjoying themselves so much! Can't wait for the 2nd Annual Halloween Carnival! We had hot dogs and chili, train rides, and a hay ride (which included a barking dog that followed us for about 10 miles.)
