Visit From The Holt's!

On Tuesday, The Holt's were passing through our neck of the woods on their way back from Galveston!  We were pretty excited to have them here if it was only for a few hours!!!

Griff and Paul David!
I love that their such good buddies and really they don't see each other that much!  So wish it was more often, but it's awesome that they're such good friends!!!

 Our Four Boys!!!!
They all swam and played together so well!  Krystal and her mom, Mary, and I sat and visited and had a great day together!  I'm so thankful for such good friends from all parts of my life!  Krystal and I have known each other forever, but we've been good friends for almost 20 years now!!!
Crazy, but awesome at the same time!!!!!

Beach Day in Galveston

So our redo Beach Day was awesome!
The weather was beautiful, and the boys had the best time playing in the waves and sand!

and looking for sea shells!

A Beautiful Sailboat came by and I got a picture with the boys!
Our AWESOME set up!
LOVE the hand on the hip!
Poor Paul David got "stung" a couple of times by something, but it was just red and never got worse.  We finally convinced him that it could have been a crab, and that was cool, so he got back in the water!  HA!

The Kids...

The Boys!
Patience and Justin:

Everyone had an awesome time this time!!

A Little Morning Swim

After breakfast and daddy went to work, the boys and I headed to the Hotel Pool!

At least we got some energy swam off before our ride home!
What a fun Mini Vacation thanks in part to PWC:)

Rangers Game

Wednesday Night after Daddy got off work, we headed to Arlington to see the Rangers play the Angels!

Last summer, when the boys were with my Mom and Dad, they talked her into these hats and shirts!
And now, the Astros are in the same division as the Rangers, but we get to watch the Rangers on TV more than Astros, so unless they're playing each other, we generally root for both teams!  Then, when they play each other, we root for the Astros!

So excited for the game to start!!!!

After the game, we found this car!!!
And some people around us gave the boys these CFA cows!
So, Judson's shirt has CRUZ on the back, and he hit a home run during the game!
Paul David's shirt has BELTRE on the back, and he hit a Walkoff Homerun to win the game!
Pretty awesome!

On our way back downtown, we saw the Reunion Ball lit up with the Rangers T in it!
I tried REALLY hard to get a picture of it...
this is from our hotel window with the big camera:

And this is with my phone...you can kind of see it there...

So cool!
The game was not Cool as far as temperature!
IT WAS HOT just for the record!!!

Mini Vacay to Dallas

Paul goes to Dallas a lot for work, so we had talked about one of his trips, the boys and I tagging along and doing some fun things there while he worked, then catching a Rangers game one night!
Well, it worked out that we went with him on Tuesday afternoon!
On Wednesday morning, our plan was to go to LegoLand in Grapevine, but when we got to the car, it had a MAJOR FLAT!  It was bad.  So the guy at the hotel helped us air it up, but by the time I picked Paul up (less than 1/2 mile to his office), it was really flat again.  We were in Downtown Dallas, but there happened to be a 7 Eleven on the street by his office.  We went there and tried to air up the tire to get us to Discount Tire, but it wouldn't hold any air at all...ugh!  Poor Paul is sick and in his work clothes, and he's going to have to change the tire to the spare in the hundred degree heat...well, it might have still just been 90 degrees:(  I finally remembered Honda Care coming with our Extended Warranty, so we called them!  Auto Rescue to the Rescue!  They had us on our way in like 5 minutes...it would have taken us forever with that little jack in our van!

So the boys and I dropped Paul back off at work and headed to Discount Tire!
They were awesome, and before long, we had a new tire on the van...with lots of air in it!!!

So, lessons we learned...
Honda Care is AWESOME!
Discount Tire is AWESOME and always get road hazard!
This whole episode only cost us $23!

The boys and I finally made it to LegoLand!!!!
It was inside the Grapevine Mills Mall, so I didn't have too high of hopes for it since it was in a mall and how big could it possibly be, but it was fun and certainly entertained these guys most of the day!

I was a bit fascinated by MiniLand!

DFW Airport:
The Mesquite Rodeo...been there with Krystal:)
 The Stockyards:
 Cowboys Stadium:
 Downtown Dallas!
Every few minutes, they turned the lights down and it became night and all the lights to all the places came on!  It was pretty cool!

 Rangers Stadium

 The Texas Star:

 Making Race Cars:
 And Racing them:

And Down the Ramps:

Needless to say, ours didn't make it all the way down...

After lunch, we found this ride...it was a favorite!!!

For the Summer, they had Star Wars MiniLand...

 and YODA!!!

They also had a really cute 4D movie:

There were two other rides, too, but they didn't allow photos on those!
We ended up having a fun day, and now the boys are very obsessed with LEGOS!!!
