The Aquarium

This video is for Preston and Kendall...my mom said that they loved to watch videos of Paul David, and this one is super cool because it has sharks in it, too. Paul David also liked watching this on the computer the other day, so this will be a treat for him, too! This was at the Aquarium back in May---pre-Judson. One of the attractions was a train that you ride into a tunnel with sharks swimming all around you. We rode it 3 times...it was cool! I'm going to try to post more videos for Preston and Kendall to watch...I've said that before, huh??? We'll see!

Fun Times with Boys!

We've had a fun past few days. Sunday, we got out the play mat. Judson laid on it for awhile, bu I think the entertainment wasn't the mat, but the brother. These two are going to be crazy for one another I think. Well, at least I see Judson adoring Paul David. I've decided that we really don't need any baby toys out...we just need Paul David!

Is this a smile for Big Brother? or was it just a gas bubble? I don't know, but I do know that it's not going to count until he smiles for his Mama...just kidding. I'm not sure if this counts or not, though...it's so hard to know when it's real or not!

Crazy eyes:

Then, Sunday night, Judson had a proper bath:

It started out well...

and quickly turned to this...AAAAHHHHHH:

Monday, we were on our own...Paul was at work, Nana and Mimi were gone, and we were staying in all day...our first all day at home together...it started with a Popsicle immediately after breakfast:

We did get in Judson's 1 month picture with the Bear:

I had gotten these Longhorn PJ's for Paul David for Christmas, and when I was getting out the 0-3 month stuff for Judson, I realized that this Longhorn sleeper matched the PJ's perfectly...Photo time:

Okay, these next ones I just couldn't pick a couple to post...they were all so cute.
Keep an eye on where Judson's looking the whole time:

Look how big Paul David looks:

Our day went pretty well at home. We all got good naps in. Poor Judson, he's just going to have to get used to all the noise Paul David emits. It's crazy how loud he's become since June 4th! We have this drum that has two drumsticks that we've had since his 2nd Christmas. I swear to you he's never played with it until the last couple of weeks. Yesterday, he decided to bang on it every time I had just about gotten Judson to sleep. Poor little guy...and poor Mama! My arms are tired at the end of the day...and my ears!

It's 8:15 a.m.

and I have already:
  • gotten 6 1/2 hours of sleep...thanks to Mimi for the first 2 and Judson only getting up TWICE during the night. He woke and ate at 12:15 after Mimi left and then at 2:45...then he slept until 6:30 IN THE CRADLE...HALLELUJAH!
  • Taken a shower!!!!!!!
  • Gotten Judson back down for a nap
  • Blogged
  • and about to eat breakfast
I'm not kidding when I say that most of this stuff hasn't happened in a 24 hour period lately!
Of course the rest of the day and the days to come will not follow the same pattern I'm sure...sometimes, you just get thrown a bone:) I'm sure I'll get cocky and think this could happen all the time, then we'll have the WORST day ever...like Friday of last week!

Right now though, just celebrating the small steps!

Lots of Pictures...Beware!

Can you believe that Judson's 4 weeks old tomorrow? Unbelievable!

We've had Nana staying with us this past week...what will we do when she's gone??? Not to worry, Mimi's on the job:)

Here are just some random shots from the week...

Paul David running the "bases"...aka the scale!

Paul David and I were having some fun trying to get a picture of the two of us:

Nana and Judson have been doing a LOT of this:

Tuesday, we ventured out and went down and saw my friend Amanda and her sweet kids. She just had Miss Allie on June 17th.
Can you believe that her second baby boy, Spence, and Paul David are only a month apart in age, and now Judson and Allie are less than 2 weeks apart in age??? Crazy, but we're going to have so much fun with all these guys!!! Four boys and a girl...all under the age of 4 1/2!

Judson getting to know Amanda:

Me getting to know Allie...she was so sweet...she cried like one time the whole time we were there!

Judson and Allie's first meeting. They were only 2 oz apart in weight, too! Well, now there's probably a difference since Judson's eating like a maniac and weighs 10lbs. 5 oz.

All the big brothers loving on the babies. They were all kissing all over both babies. It was ADORABLE!

"How You Doin'???"

Their little feet...just in case we need some wedding slideshow pictures one day:
Thank you Coleman, Spence, Allie and Amanda for having us yesterday. We had the best time and can't wait for our next, longer visit!

Once we got home, Judson took a little snooze on the boppy...I loved his little hands:

Judson's first tummy time experience...NOT loving it!

Look who's umbilical cord FINALLY fell off...it only took a whole box of alcohol preps, some stinky odor this past weekend, and two trips to the doctor to get that stinking thing off...now maybe he can get a proper bath...well, if his mama wasn't so lazy/tired right now!

As you can see, things are getting better. I've decided that if I go at least somewhere in the mornings, it makes the day go by a little faster. I've at least decided that when it's just the three of us, I may have to load the boys up and drive through somewhere so that I can eat lunch:) Knock on wood, Judson's pretty good in the car...well, he at least sleeps!
