Astros Game 1---Opening Day

Monday night was OPENING DAY for the Astros! We of course headed to the ballpark because we haven't missed one since Paul David's been here...you know how I love traditions!

As we were walking up, we saw this in the sky...skydivers! It was super windy, and they were flipping all around. I looked at Justin and said, "CRAZY!"

We stopped and got our pictures with the Baseballs...Paul David was NOT a fan:

Justin struck a cute pose:)

Judson didn't cry, but he wasn't thrilled either:

We finally made it to our seats, and I wanted to take some pictures...Paul David would put his fingers somewhere in his nose/mouth area every time I wanted to take a picture. I'll laugh about these pictures one day, right?

Our Astros Family:

Lily and Justin:

Judson getting comfy in Seat 13...his little onesie has a story---
When we went to Astros Spring Training in Florida in March 2006, I was pregnant, but we didn't know what we were having. When we went to the Astros game there, we went to the Team Store and they had this little onesie. We bought it, and Paul David wore it to his first Opening Day in April 2007. Now, in April 2010, our second born son is wearing it to his first Opening Day...How cool is that??? This will definitely be one we keep forever...what if we have a grandson that wears it to his first Opening Day someday...awwwwww!

Mimi said to get her picture because this was the only game she was coming to...Mimi's not big on baseball:)

Lily teasing me...she wanted me to take her picture, but wouldn't give a smile:

Judson did SO well! He made it through the whole game and never really made a peep!

Another milestone taken care of!
Now, if the Astros could figure out a way to win, we'd be set!

Flower Cross

The church had an Easter Cross, but due to some bad planning on my part along with running late, we didn't participate by bringing a flower on Easter Sunday. So, when I took Paul David to school on Monday, I brought along my camera! We got some cute shots!

The cross was just beautiful...more so in person!

Egg Hunt

After we ate our traditional Easter meal of Domino's Pizza and Salad (what that's not traditional...oh, well...we enjoyed it!), we headed outside to see what the Easter Bunny had left in the front yard!

Baskets ready:

Eggs...we found EGGS!!!!!!

with CANDY!!!!!!

Our Little Family:

It was a great day!
Hope your Easter was very, very special!

Legoudes Easter

After church, we headed over to the Legoudes' for our Easter Celebration! Mimi and Paw Paw's Easter Bunny had gotten all the kids Easter Baskets full of treats!

One of the hits were these Dinosaur Goggles. This was Foster's encounter with his:

I think that was the closest he got to it all day!

Michael showed the kids how it's done:

Sweet Baby Boy...he got a runny nose that morning...ugh! He's getting his two big front teeth, so I'm pretty sure that's the culprit!

Justin got Mario something for Wii...it's a lot like the Mario Brothers that we played as kids. I played a little with him. It'll take awhile for me to get the hang of it again!

They also got these cool, easy yo-yo's! They were another hit!

Judson with his baby Cheetohs!

Foster and His Yo Yo!

I put these bunny ears on Judson...he promptly removed them:

Then attempted to put them back on...super cute!!!!!

Lily LOVED the bunny ears!

Paul David LOVES the Dinosaur Goggles. He would not let you help him with them, so at first he wore them upside down:

The Bunny and The Dinosaur Meet:

Lily put on her purple one, too which got Paul David to put his on the right way. They had the best time running around roaring like dinosaurs! They're going to have a blast with them this summer!

Oh, my heart:

So Paul David finally got himself some fish...some fake fish, but he's so happy! Mimi found him this little tank, and he's put it up on the bar where Fish had lived. He's having the best time looking after his fish...and I love it because there's NO responsibility involved!

So happy!

Easter's always been one of my favorite holidays! I love all the pastels and going to church in your nice Easter clothes, spending time with family, EATING, but this year the real meaning of Easter has been extra, super special! It's a lot more meaningful when you're trying to teach the meaning to a 3 year old:)

In the words of Paul David, "That cave was empty...Jesus is alive!
He lives in my heart...not in my tummy!"

Easter Morning

Judson and Paul David left their baskets out for the Easter Bunny Saturday night.
We also left a carrot for him!

The Easter Bunny was very good to us:

Paul David noticed the carrot..."Look Mommy...the Easter Bunny liked his carrot!"

Judson got lots of yummy treats in his basket:

Paul David got some Bakugans and movies:

Very excited about the Strawberry and Banana Puffs:

The weather was drizzly, so we didn't do our own Egg Hunt. I think we might do it next weekend. Who says Easter has to end???
