Dying Eggs

Friday afternoon, Paul got to come home early from work...YAY, so we decided to dye eggs. I had read in Family Fun Magazine about using whisks to put the egg in to dip in the dye for little ones, and I thought we'd try it! Paul and Paul David did a great job of dying the eggs, and the whisks were AMAZING! It was a great way for Paul David to get to help without making us crazy with the threat of dye everywhere! He felt like he was a big part!

We will definitely use the whisks again! Paul and I both thought that it worked really, really well!

Zoo

The kids had Thursday off of school last week, so we decided to head to the zoo. We got there really early, so the crowds were low.

This tiger was right up by the glass! Uncle Bobby wanted his picture with it!

Paul David wouldn't look at the camera for anything...

Judson...so happy to be out and about again!

All four with Jonathan the Lion:

And this is where my camera battery died...UGH! I was so bummed, too because the boys had on shirts that said BIG BRO and LITTLE BRO. I wanted to get a cute picture of them together (Yeah, right) of them in their shirts and the zoo is the perfect place to take pictures. The azaleas were BEAUTIFUL...oh well!

By 11:00, the place was super crowded. We watched the sea lion show, then headed to find a spot to eat lunch. After lunch we made one last stop at the zebra (Paul David's new favorite animal) then headed out to ride the train. The train ride was so relaxing! Then, we headed home! It was nice to get out and the weather was perfect!

Eggheads and Birthday

Last Sunday, we went to Mimi and Paw Paw's to celebrate Aunt Gena's Birthday. I had taken the boys' eggs over there, so they all enjoyed playing with them.

Here are the Eggheads:

Funny thing about those pictures is that Foster started the whole thing by putting the egg on Judson's head. That's when I went to get the camera. He wouldn't put one on his head though!

Then it was Happy Birthday to Gena...the kids LOVE birthdays, singing Happy Birthday and helping to blow out the candles!

After Foster had eaten his Red Velvet Cupcake, he looked like he had a bloody nose!

Lily

Lily took the Egghead thing to a new level...she wanted her picture made with MANY eggs! They were all so cute plus many of the other pictures I got of her that day that I decided to make a post for just her!

Okay, I don't know what this was, but it cracked me up. It's usually Paul David that's acting like this, but he's all calm and solemn in the background!

This one was soooo sweet. She was waiting so patiently for the candles and cupcakes!

She was in charge of blowing out the 3...because she's 3:)

HELLO!!!!!

We got new cell phones, so I let Judson and Paul David play with my old one! Well, surprise...Judson knew EXACTLY what to do with it! He would put it up to his ear and say, "Ehh!" Where in the world would he have learned that???

Spring Has Sprung

The azaleas are blooming and are so pretty!

There are pink ones and white ones!

We've also been spending more time outside...YAY!

Paul David's gearing up for Baseball Season!

Astro's Opening Day is Monday night!!!!

Judson loves the swing...well for about 5 minutes!

He would LOVE for me to let him crawl all over the yard and eat the grass...I'm laid back, but not that laid back!

So he'll have to stick to the swing until he can walk!

It's so nice to be able to be back outside and enjoy these glorious spring days!

Ducks and Bunnies

Judson's our duck (he has little ducks on his PJ's here):

Paul David's our Bunny:

When I got the Easter eggs out, these bunny ears were in the bag, too! Paul David loved them after Paul tried them on! He started hopping around like a bunny!

That night, I was going to put his pajamas on him. He started grabbing at his clothes all over his body all the way down his legs to his feet. I sat there watching and finally asked, "What are you doing?" He said, "I'm taking off my bunny suit!"

He kills me!
