Happy Friday!!!!

Is this shirt not perfect????
Paul David has one, too, and if I could get him to wear anything but Astros and Longhorn shirts, I would have put him in it!

I think that may be the sweetest picture of the two of them ever! I am so in love with both of these sweet boys!

Row, Row, Row Your Boat!
Everytime I give Judson a bath, I can tell that Paul David is itching to take one in the tub himself. Well, the other night, he got a hold of the tub and took a little ride...and he used to fit in it, too. Breaks my heart that he's gotten so big!

Judson went for his 2 month appointment this morning.

Poor legs after the shots. He also had his first dose of Tylenol this morning (he even got to skip the first dosing line because of his weight). I remember being nervous about giving Paul David Tylenol at his 2 month appointment, too. I'm not nervous about the medicine itself, but that my kid could be the kid that it doesn't make sleepy but makes him HYPER! It always made Paul David sleepy (as a matter of fact, I remember after his 2 month shots, that I was so amazed that he actually slept some that day!). So far, Judson's been sleepy this morning, too!

Judson wasn't too fazed by the shots...look at that sweet smile!
So, he weighed: 12 lbs. 10 oz (90th percentile)
25 inches long (95th percentile)
Head Circ. 39 1/4 cm (25th percentile)

Whoa baby! I even put him in a 3-6 month sleeper when we got home. He's getting so big so fast. You blink, and they're grown:(

We're headed to my parents this weekend for more firsts.
Judson's first long car trip.
Judson's first overnight trip.
Judson's first trip to my parent's house.
Judson's first time to meet a lot of the family (at my cousin's wife's baby shower tomorrow).
Lots of firsts coming his way!

Have a good Weekend everyone!

Comparison

I totally forgot to add Paul David's 2 month picture to the last post, so I added them to the end of the post. If you've already looked at, you owe it to yourself to go and look at Paul David. He was so bald and his little slippers are too cute!

2 Months Old

In some ways, I can't believe it's been two months.

In other ways, I'm thinking, "it's only been two months?"
It's hard to remember our lives without our sweet baby boy!

We have been blessed with the most precious baby.

And we've all survived 2 short/long months!

Happy 2 Months Little Buddy!
You are all we could have ever wished for!

And for comparison, here are Paul David's 2 month Bear Pictures:

It was December and aren't those slippers adorable????
Check out how bald he was.

How Does this Work????

I laid a wide awake Judson down at 4:40 to get Paul David ready for the baseball game. When I went to check on Judson at 4:55 after Paul David had left, HE WAS ASLEEP! How does that work??? I've been working my tush off all day to get that baby to sleep more than 15 minutes...little stinker! I know he's doing it because my plan was to load him up and go to CVS where I was planning on him taking his nap in the Moby while I shopped! Oh, well, maybe after the next feeding!

Chubs

Paul David's last day of Summer MDO was Thursday...WAAAHHHHHH! I'm crying...what will we do all next week to entertain this little guy! I'm sure he gets tired of me sitting in a chair feeding Judson!

He brought home this adorable picture that says, "SLC Walk of Me!" He has still been talking about his teachers, and luckily he'll have at least one of them in the fall! When is Sept. 8th???

Mister Smiley Pants...when he wants to be...here he's smiling at the bears on his changing table. Paul David thought those bears were pretty funny when he was a baby, too:

Daddy and Judson just chillin':

CHUBS...I think that may be Judson's new nickname. Paul David didn't have these rolls, and I'm just in love with them.

I took him to the doctor as a weekend preventative yesterday (he has some congestion and tiny cough), and he weighed 12lbs. 10 oz. He's getting so big.

Last night, he was SCREAMING bloody murder about something. I think he might have had a tummy ache or something...he wouldn't even nurse. Anyway, we gave him a bath and that soothed him for a good 15 minutes. Calgon take me away!

Have a good weekend, All!

We love you more than words can say!
We miss you, too!

See you next weekend!

Max

The last couple of days, Paul David has been calling himself Max. I'm not sure where it's coming from...he may have seen it somewhere or he may have just made it up! Not sure!

Anyway, sometimes if I say something to him and call him Paul David, he'll say, "I Max, Mommy!"

Later, he may say, "Where's Max Mommy?" and I'll say, "I Don't know where is Max?" He'll point at himself and say, "Right here!"

Last night, he asked me "What does Max say Mommy?" and I said, "I don't know. What does Max say?" He said LOUDLY, "Ta-Da!"

Then this morning, we were putting on his shoes and he told me that Max flies and wears a helmet.

Is Max a super hero?

Of course, I'm playing along...I love it! I really didn't think he was going to be a creative, imaginative type, but I'm seeing little glimpses that I may have a little actor on my hands. He already thinks he's so funny!

Haircut and Sock-shoes

I finally got un-lazy and took Paul David to get a haircut. Ms. Kari chopped off a lot, but it looks so much better. Of course, most/all of the curl is gone, but I know it will more than likely return. His hair had gotten way out of hand. Even when you combed it, it didn't look combed. This haircut wasn't his best performance, but it didn't help that Judson was crying at first, then asleep in my arms. I wasn't much help, but I DID IT...another success under my belt as a Mommy of Two...haircut, check!

This morning while Paul David had MDO, Judson, Mimi and I wnet to my dentist appointment. I put Judson in this cute baseball outfit, and remembered his Trumpette Johnny's socks:

Remember the little girly Mary Jane socks that I was in love with. Well, my friend Theresa told me that they had these precious boy ones, so as soon as I got home from the hospital, I had myself on Amazon ordering these cute little socks. Paul David calls them "Sock-Shoes," so that's probably what we'll be calling them, too!

Smiles

Look who's SMILING-------

Is that not the cutest?????

A little tongue action in the smile:

I could just EAT HIM UP!!!!

Oh, my stars...he's growing up way too fast! I mean he's already 7 1/2 weeks old...slow down my baby!

Almost a smile...you can see it in his eyes:

So what's brought on these precious smiles. I've hated to say anything in case I jinx it, but Judson's days have been so much better the last couple of days. I don't know if I mentioned it on here, but he was a Fusspot any waking moment that he wasn't eating. I had been keeping close tabs on his weight to make sure he was eating enough, and he's been on the high end of the weight gain that whole time, so that wasn't it. The doctor said the dreaded Colic. My mom said he was fighting his sleep like crazy!

Early last week, I noticed some green poops. So on Tuesday, I called the Lactation consultant about it, and she said to eliminate dairy. So that's what I've been doing. I really think I can see an improvement. Knock on Wood! I do know that some of has to do with maturity, too! He's also been sleeping more this week, which always improves MY disposition! Little by little, we're making progress around here:)

A Post that's NOT a Video

Have you been enjoying the videos??? Yesterday was the last of them until I download some more!

So last Monday, the Piks came out for a visit! I don't know how I missed blogging about that!

Paul David had been talking about the Pink Baby for awhile, and I finally figured out that he was talking about Miss Allie! He got to hold his Pink Baby:

And could it be a cry from Allie...I don't believe it!

It only lasted a second...big brother Coleman wanted in on the Pink Baby Holding:

And here's what the living looked like when they left and both my boys were down for a nap. I would say that a good time was had by all:

Here's my view from the Moby Wrap...Judson takes his best naps here:

Wide awake baby:

Oh, no the Ghost Train!
On Geo Trax, there's a story about a train that has a white sheet over him and he's a Ghost Train. I'm loving to watch Paul David's imagination:

Nana and her Legoudes Boys this weekend:

Look what my Grandmother sent from her garden...oh, my yumminess. I've eaten one or two a day!

Friday night we were watching Unwrapped on the Food Network, and they featured the Dairy Queen Blizzard. I couldn't get it out of my head. So Saturday night, me, Paul, Paul David and my mom headed across the bridge to the closest DQ for a Butterfinger Blizzard and Paul David got this Blue Raspberry Slushie:

This Monday, we hosted a playdate at our house. William's mommy's birthday was Sunday, so I got some cupcakes for us. Paul David is LOVING birthdays right now:

Joanna:

Colton:

William:

and the Messy Eater award goes to...

Paul David:

Natalie (Joanna's baby sister) and Judson were there too, but they didn't participate in the cupcake eating:)

Yesterday, Judson got a package...his very own Monkey Lovey from my good friend Krystal and her family:

It's bigger than him, but it is sooooo cute and soft and cuddly!

Thank you Miss Krystal---love Judson!

And finally, a confession. With all the night feedings and day feedings, I watch quite a bit of TV. Since it's in Rerun season, and I've seen just about every House Hunters, Jon and Kate Plus 8, Little Couple, and The Duggers episodes, I've broadened my horizons these last couple of days. I have a new favorite show (I'd watched it before with April, but forgotten about it)...it's Tori and Dean...with Tori Spelling. Oh, my goodness they are the cutest (almost as cute as Jen and Bill from the Little Couple---I would so kidnap Jen if I ever saw her at Texas Children's and bring her home with me she's so cute...of course I'm just kidding...she's a grown woman and all!) Anyway, I think I could so be Tori's friend. I love that they call Liam Monkey, and I think Dean is an adorable Daddy! And so goes my love of Reality TV families!
